"And talk. I can do both" Shard says dryly

"I didn't mean to suggest otherwise." Jessica says evenly.

"Agreed." Jessica adds "And, if she is to be regent here..."

Symond nods "And she's gonna have to talk to the Nunnehi"

"Mostly they watch, or fight... but sometimes.. they talk." Symond says and points "Did you want to talk to one?"

Symond gestures to the flayed man in the robe

"He may not talk to you. Sometimes they just stare"

Jessica nods....almost bows but....she nods.

The flayed man, a nunehi of a tribe she knows not the name to, looks at her for a moment. Creatures like these have tried to kill her before.

She stands, watching.
