"Look, it's been a long damn day....." she rumbles ".... and I could really use a break. Can you just .... are you a pooka??"

Vali removes the hood, "no, but if your mother knew what was going on here, let alone your dad, they'd both be here like white on rice. And respect the vision talk will you? There's good stuff in there." The Beaumayn says clearly.

SHOCKED FACE.

"Vali!?!?!" She remembers to hiss it but it's a close call.

"What, a man who can tell the future can't have visions that something's gone wrong with someone we all care about?" Stern look, "Come on, Jessica. The only reason I'm not telling your folks is out of respect that this is your show."

((pause))

"What the hell did all that... right, right, can't say." She exhales. "Ok. Thank you. Again. You ok, you need anything?"

"Father V needs healing. Me? I don't need anything but I am curious jusst what the heck's going on? Why are kids hiding from a Gwydion? What's this about you hunting your man down for crimes like kidnapping? How come this whole thing smells like a powderkeg o na slow burn?"

"It's Tijuana." Succinctly. "I will explain later."

"Uh huh," He says "Okay. Good priest is the priority, no doubt. "

"I -will- Vail." She puts a hand on his arm. "I will. Thank you."

"You're welcome. I'll visit later, you want me to hunt Thalian or protect the kids until Sir Jack or someone gets here?"

"Kids. I brought help..." She indicates the group behind her.

"Nothing that would hurt the kids will get past me. " Firm and said

"Ok, but you'll need help with them. You can -defend- them but...."

"I've taken care of childlings before" he reminds "it's the 12 and up that give me headaches" He assures

"That many?" Dubious.

"You're talking to one of the few trolls who can gut a thallian then make a voice like daffy duck with shadow play on the wall" He mimes donald duck while making a duck shadow with his fingers "miserable thallian...wah"

Jessica shakes her head. "I can use the manpower but..." She shifts the priest, looks at him. "Ok. I won't argue. But... compromise, keep Emilo with you. He knows these kids and you could use him to send messages if you need anything."

"Please, sir." Emilo says "I have much to atone for"

Vali nods "Sure. And thanks"

Jessica nods. "Ok. I'm taking Father to heal. Stay in touch, and Vali... I want to know what happened in detail, please." Jessica turns and heads off.

A nod. ANd she goes off

She takes the other help and the priest and returns to Fenix to get him help.

Well, it doesn't take long for the heather balms to tend him. Normally Father V handles those but he's not alone- thank goodness. As the wounds are healed, he gasps and looks about.

"Warn the Chaplleh about the thall.." He blinks "Oh."

"It's ok. "Jessica is there to assure him. "The Childlings are cared for."

"Yes, that strange troll... I barely saw him... brutal."

A soft chuff. "Him? Nah."

"You didn't see him fight, dear girl. You know him?"

"Yes."

"You should rest. The childings are in good hands."

"I ..oh there is so much to do."

"But for now, you'll rest." She says firmly. "What must be done can be done by others. I have help for you, here. Tell me."

"As you command, my liege" He says patting her hand and yielding to her rule. "They have soup waiting for them in the kitchen ready to reheat. I was going to check on the Basio family...they're boggan kinain... " (She knows them and where they live though is not close) "Their daughter has a summer cold."

She nods. "Soup in the kitchen, check the Basios."

A soft nod.

"I'm on it." she rises and sends out runners to the different spots. Then checks in with Diego.

Nancy is talking to Diego "What do you mean go out there with guards? I'm rich. I can help. They wouldn't harm an unsained."

"I think they would, Nancy." As she approaches. "I'm not turning down the help, but let's be smart about it. Diego, status?"

"Stubborn saytr Doe aside? " He look at Jessica, "Jessica. The people of Fenix are BOILING mad at how Summerstrike is treating this area like a ghetto. Even the seelie ones are sick of him. " He lowers his voice dangerously "I could give one speech and have them storm his fief with pitchforks and fire. " Then a deeper breath "Remind me why that's a bad idea?"

"Because we can do much worse without as much effort, or danger." Firmly. "Constance has some information that could give us a real advantage, and without risk. Legally. Anyway, -I- was the one that invited him to send his Unseelie unwanted to us; if this is a ghetto, I made it so."

"For those that want action, have them come in and go out on organized patrols and guard posts. -That- will help."

"Unseelie aren't ghetto, " Diego says "It was a 'poor' area before. But taht son of a bitch doesn't get to throw it in our faces. But... okay. The patrols might help. But they might be LOOKING for a fight"

"I meant ghetto in the sense of... nevermind. Do the best you can to temper the ones looking for a fight. Nancy, you want to help?"

"More than anything" She says "You want me to chill the boiling just a bit with humor and song?"

"Um." she glances at Diego. "Would it cause a riot of another sort?"

"I'm much better about using a lighter touch" she protests.

Diego laughs "I think she can keep the orgies to a minimum if that's what you're worried about"

"Tell you what, I leave that up to Diego."
