To mortal news, it will be told as a drug cartel having some infighting in the normally safest part of Tijuana. A surprise indeed!

Jessica knows the place better as a Barony. And she knows that with that news- something went wrong with the extraction.

'Fretting'is something boggans do. Trolls wait stoically. So she does. And, if that includes setting extra guards and doing extra patrols herself.... so be it.

Ricardo of all people, bounces by her while she's on a patrol, and hands her a piece of paper. Then bounds off.

The style of delivery hardly makes her blink anymore. She reads it.

Jessica makes her way with all haste.

She's been here before, and knows where to go. Few even look at her despite her complexion and height making her stand out.

Inside the dark cool of the nave, she lets her eyes adjust and then looks for Father V and/or a confessional.

She finds the priest first, "This way, please, child" The boggan says "And thank you for coming."

He leads her not to the confessional, but the basement "He told me to tell you he is alive"

She does breathe at that, and that tells Fr. V she hadn't been. "Thank you."

"You're welcome, but onto the more important matter..." He opens the door and... eight childlings. They are clean, new outfits. The are eating.

While some tension stays, she does relax a little. "This appears to be all of them?" Quietly.

"Yes. Only one child was injured and I have heatherbalmed him"

"Thank you, Father." Murmured "You can give them sanctuary?"

"We have, it's why I've brought them here. They are... a handful...some of them, unseelie and very defiant. I did not know if you wanted them at your hold, or if I should pproach Tidemarch, or if you want us to hold onto them a bit longer?"

"Hold them here for now. I can send you help."

"Appreciated, House Liam will care for them" He says

She nods, her father's daughter. "And.....?"

"Duff is alive, but... it might be best to disassociate youself from him. He wishes to plant rumors that you and he had a fight and you spurned him days ago. He tells me to tell you do not challenge these rumors. "

Jessica's face betrays her, but she nods agrement.

"He was seen, I'm afraid. Be prepared, Jessica. Summerstrike is going to want rights to Duff's shop, on your lands. You must decide if you want to let them"
