Jessica glances up from where she works near the Balefire..... then back to work.

Duff glares and then walks in

When he enters, she glances up again. Back to work. 13 people for papers and transportation..... she double checks the information she's going to send to the boggan up north.

"how goes?" He asks

She nods. "Good. We're going to start moving people out, I'm checking the info is correct. You?"

"have insurance in case the invading gang needs put down."

"I heard." And she doesn't seem too thrilled by it.

"You're welcome" He says dryly

She doesn't glance up. "This counts as staying on the quiet?"

"None of the gang members noticed me, so...Yes."

"Jessica, you know very well I do things my own way...even requests"

"I know. Don't always love it, though."

As she's not glancing up, she doesn't see his expression, but she does notice what appears to be a long silence.

After a bit, making sure one of the under-age siblings on the list is correct, she does glance up.

His head is tilted, he looks at her, "Just mulling over the irony of your phrasing"
