"Anything!" Emphasis "Not love, not family, not leadership and sure as heck not this place...." a deep breath to steady "... I mean.... Family and Fenix are more certain than others but...."

"Fenix is so much like you though. It looks stern from the outside, but on the insdie it has a healing heart, a kind heart that just wants to ... you know ? Help"

A tilt of the head "As for Love? Well.. you already heard I'm not able to know my starboard from my aft lately"

"Still not sure about Duff?"

"Fenix does a lot better than I do at all that. And no. By this time, though, I'm thinking it is what it is." She shrugs, but looks worried, frustrated.

"Well. I'm here. And.. I can keep my yap shut. Talk. Share some of what ails you? May not help you, but you did me a good turn, maybe I'll luck out and have a good suggestion or just let you ease the burden. You're my sister. I want to help"

"I know, Siv." Jessica ducks underwater and surfaces, smoothing her hair back. "I don't see myself as a hero. I wanted to be, I guess? When I started."

"Who did you want to be? What type?" Her sister sinks a bit

"What type?" Confused.

"What type of hero did you want to be when this started?"

Something is not translating right. "What do you mean?"

"Sorryk. You said you didn't see yourself as a hero. You wanted to be, you guessed? So I was aksing what hero did you want to be?"

"Mom."

"Oh, of course mom. " A nod "Who wouldn't want to be? My god she's intimidating"

"me too, by the way. You're closer than I am, if it's a comfort"

"Not really. But thanks."

"Oh trust me, you have Brekke Brow.... I always over extend, looks comic" she gives an example

A soft chuff. "You look more like them. Well. You would."

"I never thought so... I don't have the broad shoulders you know? Not..like that"

"you have their mannerisms down"

A smile "Guess we each have a piece or two? "

"Practice." With King dryness.

"I guess"

A snerk at the dryness "oh, this could be fun." She mimes their father's tone "if That is what you want to do..." subtle head shake 'noooo' like Frank King does as he tries to lead the blind

Another soft chuff and a faint smile. "How're you feeling?"

"Better actually, my foot's healed, ankle is strong, and... you know? Maybe it's the magic of the waters, but whiel I know it's not going to be easy, I know I'll muddle through. Right?"

"That's the spirit!" With more enthusiasm than she actually feels; she fakes it.

"Your advice helped" She adds "And.. you? You'll muddle through too?"

"What choice do any of us have? Of course I will."

"That's the spirit, we should write that latin and make it a motto 'what choice do any of us have?'. " A chuckle

That gets something more like a real laugh from her. "King family motto. "

"Works" Siv grins "Ah well. Thank you, Jessica. I wish I could help you as much as you helped me. IS there anything I can do around here?"

"Can you stick around, or do you have to get back?"

"I have to call mom and dad, but I can stick around for a day or three" She says

"That'd be great. We can beat up a drug gang, next." Seriously.

"Truly? Sure!" She says "I'm not afraid of a scrap or three"

"Kidding." Just as seriously.

"Argh! I fell for it"

Jessica shakes her head back and forth in mock disappointment.

"See, that's dad, right there" She points accusingly "little bit anyway"

But smiles

"Guilty" she doesn't seem phased. "Hungry?"

"Yes, please" She rises out of the water

They rise, dry off, and dress themselves before Jess finds Siv a room.... and Jess will take some quiet time with the Bale, too.

Siv talks a bit more, and is sure to mention Dagmar "So she's officially our cousin now."

And a lot of praise there "She's a Gwydion, aint' that a kick?" But she is shown her room, and Jessica gets her quiet time with the bale
