The healing goes smoothly and well, not only did Uriel and Clem bring their power and skills, they brought dross- this last is a godsend as the hold gets a reprieve on its energies. Both healers are amazed at the way the waters amplify healing. Wounds that would take weeks to heal in a hospital, and at least A week in your typical hold, are largely gone by the end off the day

It turns out that yes, Drega had quite the carreer and did serve against the sidhe as a boy before eventually joining Concordia's army . Many trolls did that very thing and no shame in it as he remained a voice for reform all his life, once opposing the system, and later inside it. Jessica sighs and goes to see.....

"It's just, how often did Chieftain Brekke and your people visit 'officially'"

"Your people? Oh lordy" Clem is answering "Look, we're just a hold that wants to be left alone. The world was getting onto us, so I tried to get it done on our terms. " Clem says "Since every noble and their mother knows about it now I guess it worked sort of. But I went to Chieftain Brekke, not the other way around"

"mmm..." A suspicious look on Mitra's face, "but what lead you there?"

Jessica joins them, but not to interrupt; she has a skeptical look on her face.

"Need, to get away from nobles mostly, pardon me" Clem seeing Jessica, looks relieved "Jessica, I think you said you'd get me lunch?"

"Right! Sure. 'Scuse us, Dame....." She throws an arm around Clem and they walk away. "Sorry... " Muttered.

"what is going on with her?" clem mutters

"I swear, I wish I knew." Shakes her head. "She's got some cockamaymie idea about a major troll conspiracy that ... I'm not sure.... includes you DeBukes and my folks and Rivervale and a massive troll network of intermarriage and.... she's got yarn all over the walls of her room."

"Ooookay, is that typical?" She says as they move towards the kitchen...good smells come from there

"Hey, tamales...." she seems encouraged. "Troll conspiracies, or Dame Mitra haring off?"

"Either one, both? " A sniff "Does smell nice. " They enter in, and find two large chairs around a small cozy table are already set /"Senoritas, sit down, we take it from here" one off the cooks insist,

"Thank you." She has gotten used to letting the staff do their thing, although if asked she would not be comfortable with 'servants.' "Well, you might know more about troll conspiracies than I do, so you tell me. As for Dame Mitra.... well, I consider her a friend; one of my first, here, one of my closest, here. I've seen her get a bug up... I've seen her get focused on stuff but this just takes the cake."

"Well, she stands by you and that speaks well of her," Clem says as they take their seats , Clem does thank them as well, and well, the food is delicious. By now, Jessica knows real Mexican food with the baja flare better than any.

"While I'll never stop praising my Great Aunt Agnes' cooking as best in the world, " Clem admits, "Mexican cuisine might be her weakness. " She seems to want to bring something up but is unsure how

"Thanks again for coming down, and please give all your folks my best when you get home... although you're welcome to stay a bit if you can." She offers again.

"Well, actually, I feel bad leaving it..see... I'm going to be Chieftain of it soon" a bite of Tamale

Jessica grins. "Hey! Welcome to the club. Share the misery." She takes a bite of her own.

Clem laughs then says "Well, we'll see how misery goes. Truth to tell, I..find myself wanting this. ANd That makes me feel bad. "

Jessica doesn't ask why; she just pauses in her chewing and then continues slowly, nodding. "Yeah."

A slam of the front door. "WE BAAAA-AAAAACK!" A familiar nocker's bray, followed by, "Th' fuck happen here???"

"Ambition is something for sidhe I've been taught, least that kind but..well, good news is Hearth Agnes is sticking around, and .." SHe turns as a noise sends through the halls

Tweak can smell great food from the kitchen

And hear conversation

The smell of tamales reels her in readily enough. "B? Why there a big blue mess all over the place in here? Yo." a quick nod to Clem. The nocker grump looks healthy and tan and perhaps unnaturally cheerful, with the baby in a front-facing carrier playing with a contraption of interlocking gears.

Jessica barely registers it. "There are some reasonable examples of troll ambition, Clem, it's not.... um. Ok." She doesn't get up, though.

"There was an attack on an exploratory party elsewhere, and they got flickerflashed here."

"Shit. Elsewhere gonna be a problem for this-where?" She reaches and snags a tamale and takes a large bite. "Oh, fuckin' awesome."

"hi, Tweak, long time no see," Clem says "And they're all on the mend now, that healer nocker and I patched em up."

"Well, glad you gotta goddam pro t' help ya."

"Hey, lil spawn gonna want her daddy fed, you wanna make me a sammich?" Nec says coming in, then notices the two troll ladies "Hey , Beef and Corn"

She nods, chews, swallows. "Yes. I want to see if I can send Uriel back to the Countess with a report on it all."

"Hello, Necropsis."

Clem rolls her eyes than she glances "Oh she's adorable" as she looks on Shuri

Tweak smirks at Nec. "You hands workin', make it yerself."

Then she gives a proud, toothy smile. "You ain' wrong," she says to Clem, and moves closer so she can see the baby. Shuri looks up at Clem and drools a toothless smile at her.

"Gonna pound that ass later you be making noise sandwhiches..." But despite his tough talk Nec looks at Tweak and their child with a smile and gets himself and Tweak a plate

Clem waves blue fingers at the little girl, "Oh she is just three shades of cute, each shade cuter than the other too. And she's listening to everything I saw... I swear she is., how smart are you?"

Jess grins a little. "Yeah, she's sweet."

"Smart? Lil bitcha gonna be a rocket scientist...got her mama's brains and my way with women, cause if she go lezzie she will shoot down dickweed boyfriend wanna bes. I'm gonna make her little ass watch a lot of Ellen"

Tweak's beaming now. "She fuckin' brilliant, aight."

Tweak rolls her eyes at Nec, but doesn't disagree.
