Alejandro ap Daireann has a bloody nose.

The young sidhe lord has been brought before Jessica, and it is no doubt , he has been in a scrap.

Jessica takes a slow look and then sees him privately.

Rosa lets him go to her, the boggan saying "He won't say anything about the fight. Only that it is a matter of honor. I never knew a Daireann to STAY quiet"

Jessica gets them both some fruit juice. Glasses full and a pitcher on the side. She indicates he should come in, and sit, and she sits, and sips, and takes a moment in the quiet.

"Thank you for the juice" the boy says , straightening his slightly bent glasses

"You're welcome."

"Want to tell me what happened, or hear about it elsewhere?"

"neither actually" he says honestly "it was a private matter"

"I respect that." She almost speaks again, then just nods. "Okay. If you need anything, please come see me directly."

"thank you," he sips his juice, then stops "you're..not a bad leader. I still don't know why you want peace with the Nunnehi, but... you're not a bad leader."

"Thank you." Seriously. "I understand why you feel the need to avenge yourself. I do. Really. My dad...." She stops. "I can understand it."

"Did... someone wrong your father?"

"My father is of House Liam."

"yes, I had heard. I suppose he's faced many challenges, but you made it sound like something extra horri.. pardon, this isn't my business. I just, you have been kind . And yes, I think you know what it's like to have a knife broke off inside your gut, and it can never come out."

Noise in the main hold....

Jessica glances at the door, but doesn't stir. Much. "There were times I wanted to strike back... but, I did not."

"I'm Daireann, it's dishonorable not to for us." more noise and...a knock on the door

"I understand that.... Pardon me." She rises and goes to the door.

"Yes?" Opening it.

"There are a lot of trolls here, a ...lot of trolls" One says "And, they're wounded."

She nods. "Ok, get them settled and first aid. Anyone critical?" She looks over her shoulder. "I'm sorry, Alejandro, but...."

"Of course, you're ruler and hostess both and folks need healing, please, go."

He assures her

She nods. "Excuse me." And she heads out to see to these trolls....?

"It looks like they've been in a hell of a fight...." by mortal standards, a dozen soldiers may seem small, by fae standards? That's a lot. Twelve trolls in various states of injury are being tended to. Some are on the beds, many near the fire, and to his credit fontaine is insisting folks get into the waters of healing even as he tends wounds

"Why..." One groggy troll with a head wound asks "Why do you have no pants?" //"Shh shh not important right now"

Twelve trolls are worth ten each of any others. Jessica gets into the mix, helping to move people, bring supplies, so on.

She notices one of the trolls appears to have more marks on her armor's shoulder, perhaps marking her as a sgt. of sorts. The others mostly have just one. SHe's definitely issuing orders, but only to the men and women who she outranks to comply "This is the one time your damn weapons can wait. Kuff, I don't care if she is your lucky charm, put that ugly axe down for five minutes and let them tend"

She notices Jessica giving orders "You the freeholder?"

Jessica approaches. "I am Jessica King, the Freeholder and leader of this Fief." She introduces herself.

OOC transfer to outside, grab rags, clean up, find second spot, clean that up, each requires different responses, find a THIRD issues, get it clean, clean up the stuff you cleaned up with....

"Sgt. Layla DeFortunata, Thunderbolt squadron" She salutes, "Sorry to swarm in on you like this, ma'am. My boys were getting hammered hard"

"Where, and how? Who's your commander?"

"Me, by default. Commander Draga was slain in battle with the nunehi"

An exhale, and nod. "I understand." She turns. "Dame Mitra? Or... any Thanes??" She looks for her people.

Mitra shows up almost instantly "It's a heavy rush on our dross, but we're healthbalming, and healing with a frenzy. ALl of the sgt.s' men here should make it"

She nods again. "Let's get our defenses set. We could be a target for harboring and helping."

"Hope not, we used a treasure...well, the commander did. He...flashed us all here ...his last act"

"A noble sacrifice." She takes a moment of respect. "Still, for the sake of my own hold and holdings.... We'll take precautions."

"Aye, and since I've got just a scratch or two myself....." She says

The sidhe raises a brow, "Actually you've got a shard of some arrowhead in your gut...though the breast plate has been shifted to hide it"

Indeed, the sgt is a much paler shade of blue than before

"Take a seat, Sergeant." An order.

"Damn sidhe, prying into things..." She does however take a seat

Dame Mitra smirks then calls for another healer "We need someone to do some carving and pull out an arrow head I suspect"

Jessica makes sure the Freehold, at least, is defended (should it be needed) and that the Fief is well-patrolled.
