Jessica stretches and yawns . Wait, waht time is it?

She blearily looks around for sunlight, and fumbles for her phone....

music, laughter, has High summer started without her? It's night..she slept all day?

Not possible! She sits up, gets up, and head for the bathroom first, then the door.

She grabs her phone but it feels odd, too big for her hand to be quite comfortable

And yes, she gets to the bathroom, turns on the light and beholds..a pooka!

She shrunk! Well, not litterally, but her troll mein is gone instead...she's uhm normal sized?

ANd not blue...rather, she has jaguar spots

and ears that arc?

and a tail

it's swaying in the reflection, but if she looks back, it's there all right.

Jessica sigh. "Oh come on, guys...."

Yup. it's a tail. She's been shape cchanged? Does it only go skin deep?

With a sigh, she does what she needs to in there and heads back to see if she can carry her maul.

CLothes are a pain to fit on! She's got to get stuff that's normally two sizes too small for her

(And how much of that can there be lying around?)

Lovely, someone left some clothes, on the skimp side with.. yay, spots. Is there a PIg pOoka in her group she doesn't remember?

Probably She dresses with a sigh. I swear, if Necropsis opens his mouth....

Perhaps Tweak can banish him to diaper changing duty? Shuri's not just adorable, she's good at distracting her dad.

And out she enters and sees a part is blaring!

Party

A confused human band is playing some music, enchanted, they stare as their fingers strum strings and hit keyboard

Jessica pokes her head into the room, checking to see who's there and what's going on.

Over a dozen pooka...an enchanted band, and enchanted mortals in animal costumes. Oh dear. A few humans are in cages...while a pooka explains "And this is a Slumlord...it neither sows no r does it reap, it does raise rent on folks who have no where else to go...trade sexual favors for not having families thrown out and more.. we've dressed him in a wwarthog out fit as a way to insult warthogs"

Jessica takes a deep breath and steps out into the party.

A human woman waves a deleroously as she serves drinks. She appears to be wearing an hot fox outfit.A female pooka says "oh her? Vixicanus freemealus.. sees all men in her life as a gravy train to four and a half star restraunts then dumps them if the meals stops. I wont' say she used my brother, but ..she used my brother"

Jessica observes this but says nothing.

She is tempted to drink.

There are certainly options.

She does see her Maul. It's a comfort to know that it at least has not been touched

She heads over to it, reaching and wrapping her hand around it.

A voice seeths through the hold, "If she be Hemsworthy!" ightning flashes! And...

BIC: And she's fine... the maul she can lift. Whatever she looks liike, she still ahs troll strength. Folks do cheer her though

She preens slightly, then wonders why.

Ricardo bounces up to her and bows "Precious pretty Kitty join us? We have steak cubes, and catnip!"

"No, thank you, I.... " She pauses. "Steak? Well....."

they do indeed have steak cubes, no cat nip. mm

She fights down any sense of disappointment, and samples the steak.

Buce trots up, "Lady? Meloth" the stallion pooka says "How find you high summer? These scoundrels on display are are part of our 'wanna smack em ' zoo"

The steak is delicious

She nods, swallowing. "I gathered." She licks her lips daintily.

"Tis our hope you enjoy, as tis a day for pooka, eer the most noble kith to reign, we thought to make thee belle of the ball. I am sure all here on their best behavior and no further amusemnts shall be had at thy expense"

"Hmph." A sour look. "I'm sure."

Duff comes in...and does not seem to notice her instead observing the mortals.
