Within, a midwife seems to move through the rants and storms as if she were as unflappable as a cliff of solid stone in a hurricane. And she bosses, orders, and directs as needed.

Eventually, curses are abandoned for vocal sounds that no person should be able to make. It's...disturbing and violent.

Jessica braces against the wall for a tremor, and nods to Diego. "Where's Symond?"

"Right here," Symond says. She has survivalist gear on and several bags for any occasion ready in a train behind her.

She blinks. "Um. Ok. What's... that's a lot of... stuff."

"Some of it is if she needs it, some of it is to keep away from her so she doesn't destroy it and set the projects back a year" Symond says

Some of the stone work shifts at the latest sounds.... and there might have been an accusation about being the ONLY pimp in TJ that didn't have drugs on him just when they really could use some! Fuck NATURAL anything!

"Smart thinking." Jessica sounds impressed.

Mitra agrees, "I notice everyoen else has cleared out"

"Some of them are taking bets in the throne room actually,. You guys already did furking bet on time weight and gender right?"

After some time the yelling is sometimes interspersed with weary sobbing.

Diego considers "Girl. just under 3 Kilos.'

Jessica looks at Diego, nods. "Boy. Um. 7 pounds 5 ounces."

"I was thinking boy" Mitra says " 6 pounds even"

Symond makes a note of it and takes the bet

From within, between screams and sobs, there's Nec voice going "And I promise to never ever touch your ass again, okaaay?"

"Jus' shut th' fuck up, you goddamn DNA dispenser!"

"Good good... we are doing good" The Midwife's voice can somehow be heard.

"An' stop BREATHIN' in my goddamn FACE!"

"An' you oughta....owwwwwwwwwwwww!"

"You're the one who wanted a baby" Nec declares...and his pooka tongue maybe trying to get him killed.

"Widow and mother in one night" Mitra clucks, "Don't see that often"

"Should we go and try to rescue him?" Worried.

Diego and Mitra look at each other, then at Jessica "Nah"

"Okaaay..." Dubious.

Another long, painful groan, and the walls shiver with a sustained vibration....that becomes a rattling as the groan becomes a gutteral roar of desperation.

Jessica is watching the Forge doors with a look of horror.

"I am never ever having children" Mitra pales. I mean, it's not like she's a fiona

And then, the sound of crying, an infant crying!

ANd within, Tweak exhausted and having been through the 'joy' of childbirth stares into the eyes of her own daughter as the girl has been cleaned and put in her arms.

Jessica's eyes are wide again, and her mouth open. "Was that.... it sounded like a duck."

A momentary concern of "how do I not break this?"...but hey, look at that...that's her kid.

And Nec learns what comes AFTER birth "JESUS FUCKING HORROR MOVIE LOOKING..." //"No no, Senor Nec, that too is natural, do not shoot"

BIC: But for Tweak, her dark eyed daughter stares at her with a wobbly eyed curiosity. Or maybe it's just baby's first belch trying to escape.

Jessica gives the others in the hallway a paralyzed look. "What... should we.... is it ok in there?"

"Holy fuck," Tweak smiles. "You be pretty as sin, little girl."

Necropsis smiles, "That...tht's our spawn there, baby'

The midwife cleans up, and says "Okay, I think they have folks hoping to see. outside good ? no?"

Diego says "Well, we kind of have to inquire. There's a betting pool waiting"

"It's really quiet...." Worried.

"Hey...you don' suck," Tweak offers the midwife a note of gratitude.

"Gracious," The midwife says, a smile on her face, "Your baby is a bonita. Very lovely. She's a fine girl. You want to greet others now?"

"Yeah, I...I guess. What th' fuck." Tweak gives a little half-laugh.

"I got it" Nec opens the doors. The others can see he's a ruffled mess with a black eye, but he's also grinning 'it's a little HO!"
