Art doesn't notice for a moment, in fact, he's busy with his head buried in a card catalogue. But soon the tickle of glamour of an approaching fae stirs his attention, and he looks up - a little too fast, and bonks his head on a drawer he had left open. "Sir... ooof. Mr. (lastname)? What brings you here?"

Mr. Gardener looks down at the much much shorter man, "Well, you do. Kind of. How are lessons?" he taps to the beaumayn symbol on his crest, the voile only enchanted eyes see.

(That is, Vali touches his own House Symbol, not Art. That would be rude)

Art straightens up and gives the Knight a nod rather than a bow, then ruins the formal moment by rubbing his head before belatedly sliding the card catalog drawers closed. "Going well, though I find it hard to study some times. " He admits, a touch sheepishly. "I try to focus on the, er, curriculum, but it's so easy to get distracted in a side note, then research that, and suddenly it's hours later and I'm 4 books deep in a side quest of sorts."

Vali chuckles at that, "Part of who you are. Sometimes the side road becomes the main road and vice versa. " he makes sure no one is listening in "Don't neglect practicing if you can though. It's something an unpleasant gift, but the dreaming gave it to us for a reason. Remember the code and all that, yes, but it can save lives."

Then he says "mm sorry, going into lecture mode without meaning to. I used to be more fun loving." A wistful look "Oh well, grumps gotta grump. Anyway, I have had a few visions about this area. I was hoping you had too. We could compare notes."
