It must be said, Oak doesn't get cold easy. And He's very glad he's not a short coat! It is cold up here, but .. he likes it.

And Frank likes it too. At least Oak thinks so. He barks to draw Frank's attention to the view, too bad two leggers can't smell wortth a darn, the scents are amazing on a crisp alaska breeze

Frank walks along quietly, companionably. This time of year, he's almost a dog himself.

The smells are not bad even to a Troll's nose . And the chimerical side of things, the overlay of dreams, is fun. the wind whirls almost laughing about them. In a stream, fish dance, flashing rainbow in the scales

Frank is, perhaps fortunately, well-fed today. Instead of the hunt, his thoughts turn to this territory they are considering. He continues to explore and evaluate.

It's good land, close enough to other people if help or company is desired, yet far enough away for solitude for just Brekke , himself, and the dogs

Frank can't really think of anyone in the area he'd want for help or company, as the case may be. Solitude.... that's good.

Oak turns, seeing a chimerical white fox shoot away from them. It doesn't want trouble

Fran doesn't even growl; it's too small to be a threat.

He notices a bit of glamour in a tree, a honey comb, dripping chimerical honey.

He eyes it, and licks his lips. Honey is good. He looks for the associated bees.

There are a few, but the cold has made them sluggish. It's not as busy as a beehive by any stretch

"What do you think?" He asks Oak.

Oak sniffs, and wags, as if to say 'nothing ventured'

"Mmphm." Frank steps up to the tree; can he reach the honeycomb?

Tall as he is, yes, if he stands on a root

He will do that, and take down the honeycomb.

He reaches up, grabs it, but for a moment, it seems he is stuck...this delicious honey has a hold on him. BUT...he's a troll...

A NON troll might struggle, but Frank plucks the prize easily, and has a honeycomb!

He tastes it.

DELICIOUS, and.. a bit of glamour in it. Nothing unhealthy, it is a dream of perseverence in the face of future troubles

It's possible this tree will produce this again, as dross.

Frank decides to take it back and share with with Brekke.

She'll love it! Oak bounces nearby, not asking for the honey (not his flavor) but just happy Frank seems pleased with the find

Frank heads back to find Brekke.
