Hey, there's lingering chimerical energy on the modern line near the fridge...

Squinty face "Huh."

She crosses over to poke at it.

Her fingers move... and from the spot between the fridge and the wall, driven by passions too powerfully felien to ignore, a chimerical kitten made of lightning lines jumps forward, tries to grab her fingers, and darts back... for Thistle, it was a static shock!! Not too painful but hey!

But she got a good look at the critter

Ivan is in the back yard in the shade. Probably why he hasn't found it

"Hey!"

Her magenta hair is rocking a more vertical style!

(Given that it already had the texture of thistledown, this is not entirely a big change)

A pair staticy feline eyes in that spot between fridge and wall

"Hey, pspspsps."

It won't fall for that... that intriguing sound... that seems to.. okay it'll peek just a bit

and it peeks out, cautiously

Of course, Silverwolf has a cat. Linnae's Pearl. Who is a good mouser. Now a cat rather than a kitten, Pearl seems bigger and older than this.. static kitty

Thistle does not look at the cat directly, and she tippy-taps her nails against the linoleum.

the fingers dare? They dare to tap in front of her?

And the kitten chimera 's tail begins to make that 'oh it is on.. so on' motion

and POUNCE!

If Thistle doesn't move her fingers back quickly, she'll get another light shock. She's got worse from tool tinkering

"Gah! You pack a punch, Sparky."

Sparky looks pleased by the praise and does a bit of a 'yes i am bad ass' dance

"Did you find the problem? cuz it aint' done in the garage!!" Wudlig says

"It's an electrikitty."

"The furk? " Foot steps

The electrikitty exposes it's belly... you can trust her.. just touch the belly. Perfectly safe.

"Uh-uh, I know better."

the kitty gives a tail twitch as it sits a bit more upright. As if offended Thistle has the audacity to doubt the kitten's veracity

Then Wudlig comes into view...

and the kitten skitters back to it's spot by the fridge, but not before he sees it.

"How do these things keep showing up around you again?"

"Whaddya mean? They're just chimera, they're everywhere."

"I'm pretty sure I saw them when I was a kid, there were these mushroom gnomes in our kitchen that lived in the wallpaper."

"Uh huh.. look, give me a few minutes and I can rig something to short it out so it can't mess with wiring"

"That... won't that hurt it?"

"Oh it'll flat out break it into raw glamour and we can use that for fuel" He offers

Ears flatten

"But she's a kitty."

"I bet the Nevers will like her. Ey! SPARKLEBUTT! IDJIT!"

It peeks out again

"She might eat the nevers or slap them like a bug zapper" He says

"Well, she might."

"They're pretty fast. They might ride her like a pony."

Sniff goes the kitty. Who dare? Still she moves closer to the nockers again

And the door opens "Come in, Ivan. Hey guys, got the food!"

Ivan drops low, then let's loose a bark so thunderous that the static kitten....

leaps in a panic on top of Thistle's head

Gwen says "What is it, boy? Trouble, find it!"
