And...that stops her cold. A moment where she's about to run...until she remembers that Siv is described as Hap. Still at a distance away, she whispers for the earring's benefit, "Siv, is that you?"

The figure turns as if hearing something then... "Oh, right. It's me. Sorry" And the features melt rapidly to Siv's and she waves

"Thank the Dreaming." She goes over to meet her. "Let's go. I'm feeling a little anxious about this."

"How'd it go?" She takes out the ship and soon the Narwhal is rising out of the water "Did you get followed?"

"I don't think so. There was a curious boggan at the cafe, but I don't think he got too curious." Then she gives Siv a frown. "You didn't tell me the guy I'd be dealing with is hot and nice."

"Since when do you not enjoy hot and nice?" SHe says getting the stolen case with whatever she took and carrying it on the ship

"Since I'm now worried that this hot, nice guy is going to get in trouble for whatever-that-is getting stolen when he was supposed to be on duty."

"Impossible. He was seen at his post."

"If he were an asshole, I wouldn't mind so much!"

"You don't KNOW he's not an asshole. Maybe he votes republican behind closed doors? "

She bites her lip.

"Maybe. Damn, though. Dreamy eyes."

A look back as the ship begins to sail, readying for a plunge "Honest to gods, those eyes ARE amazing"

"Damn I hope Jonas comes back soon. Piper and I are great mind you, but I do miss ah...driving with a stick"

Sylvi rolls her eyes and grins. "Yeah, I hear you."

Wistful sigh , then "Sorry. I didn't think you would like Hap so much. "

"I'm not saying I fell for him or anything. Just...he's a yummy biscuit, and he seems nice. And if he is nice, and gets in trouble, I'll feel bad. I hope whatever you swiped is worth it."

"Me too" she says "That lodge is being used though . The Ailil are using it to hook others using trollish good rep to work intrigues"

"I don't know how much of our conversation you heard, but Hap isn't comfortable with any of that."

"He's not?" She says "No, didn't hear that much. Look, it was nothing personal, I just picked him because he was on duty guarding the vault I needed to get into. "

"No, no, I get that," she reassures, but she still looks a little troubled.

"What did he say?"

"Well...he said he thinks of the 'noble system' as 'intruding' everywhere...and he said that the Ailil sidhe in charge there now has assured them that things won't change much for the Lodge...but he's not sure he trusts that."

"Lad's got good instincts" Siv considers "Get ready for the plunge" And they do.. hitting the water, and splashing down down and popping up

Sylvi's still a little troubled, and she's glad to be further from Huntsville.

WHen they pop up, Siv says "Okay . I feel like i owe you an apology for bringing you into this"

They are in the lake/pond

"No, it's okay. You wouldn't involve me if it wasn't important. I trust that, whatever you did, it needed doing."

"I'll fill you in later, okay. See you at Dinner at the lodge, or you hitting gold finch again?"

"Well, I definitely want to check in at Goldfinch, but I'll come by the Lodge for dinner, sure." A deep breath and a grin. "We did it!"

A grin and fistbump "Aye, we sure did"

And the two part on terms of victory, and success
