He takes the tray and heads off to the room described.

Cecily hears the knock and goes "Oh my" nervous, then says "you children keep playing"

And she opens the door cautiously, then sees him and barely masks a smile

He nods. "Cooky asked me to bring these along?"

"Thank you so much, how delightful" She takes the tray and in doing whispers in his ear "Some of these kids are adorable. Real keepers"

"A little green and underdone, don't you think?" a low murmur back. "My pleasure, Miss Cicely." he gushes more loudly.

"Oh," She whispers back "I'm hostage to their charms"

He gives her a -look-... alarm?

Her own is more of hidden outrage and concern

but she takes the tray and says "Everyone say thank you for the treats"

The childlings, there appear to be four of them, say "Thank you!"

"Very welcome." with a small bow; he takes a moment to observe his audience.

He notices right away the little nocker boy, who seems to be turning his blocks into ... is the childling Paris? Wait, that's where they set up the guilotine... minus blade. He's happy to see the treats, but otherwise is as surly as any of his kith despite the age. The Satyr boy is far more enthused bounding upon hooves! Then there's the troll girl who looks..guarded. Cautious but nods her thanks. The Eshu girl looks almost relieved when the door opens. None of them look over eight.
