"Well. No time like the present?"

"I'll get on it" She kisses him "If you think you don't need Cecily anyway"

"Mm." he savors the kiss. "Will you use the motel here as a base of operations? I will drop by to see how Phlan is doing before making my way to the Seat."

"I think I know a spot, " She says "I'll alternate. Don't worry about me, I can dual role it"

"There's an Air B&B"

He lifts an eyebrow but nods. "I have every faith in you."

"And I you, but I have more fun when we're together so Cecily is definitely still around"

He chuckles. "Very well. Let's get to work." He'll take her wherever she needs before returning to Phlan's in the RV.

She chooses an outlet mall and has his park a fair bit back

"There we are. Above all, Dearest, stay safe."

"Look after yourself" She informs him

And she steps out

And he's off to Phlan's, dropping into character as he does.

The fire is being put out, but the building had to be evaculated. A nocker is FUMING

The RV chugs to a stop, he hauls on the parking brake, and he slides out to peer around the front fender.

Abner hears him cursing but makes out details "Furking son of a bitch must have found the spying device.. how am I gonna prove the crap he's up to now?"

Abner clears his throat softly and edges out/forward a little.

"I'll set his ears on fire I'll..." A turn "What?"

He flinches and steps back "Sorry. Sorry."

He takes a breath "Unless you had a match, not your fault. Your RV still having troubles?"

"It runs much better now, thank you." He peers past the nocker at the building "How... how bad is it?"

"Gonna have to rebuild"

"Tore out the back storage"

"Oh dear." Miserably "Do you know what happened?"

"OH I know" Seething a bit "POinty earred mafia boss"

The boggan's mouth drops open in shock "You mean... Lord Ardhu?"

"That is exactly who I mean"

"But why?"

"I mean... that is... you did seem to feel that.... well, you might not see eye to eye with Lord Ardhu on every issue...."

"Every issue?" A snort "that fellow you got in trouble with, did it help that you were okay with a difference of opinions?"

"It... it was more than that." he mumbles.

A scowl "Sounds like this guy wasn't a winner?'

"He... " mumbled "... made advances. On Ceciley. Unwelcome ones, insulting advances, as if she should be grate.... grateful for them. And... I made some poor decisions afterwards."

"You pop him in the nose?"

"I ... served him a bad glass of wine."

"Shit " a shake of his head, "I see why you're looking for a new locale. Cecily okay? She seemed kind of skitish"

"She is strong." which is not quite an answer.

'mmmph. Look... I got beef with my 'lord' more than ever. So I know what it's like to have to kiss ass on someone who deserves a kick in it instead"

"I have to admit, while I try to keep an open mind and approach everyone as the individuals they are, it... It can be challenging sometimes. And now this Lord has destroyed your workshop? I can understand your frustration." sincerely.

"Well, that's not my only workshop" He mutters it

"Oh." he blinks, impressed "That is clever. Good foresight."

"heh... I may have a temper, but I gotta a brain , even if the hoi poloy forgets that. "

"I wish you better luck than I had."

"I suppose with the state of things here we should plan on moving on." worried.
