After fitting QUITE well, and having a nice eve... in the morning, 'Abner' is ready to take his tool (Insert Dirty joke here) to Flynn Phlatgrapht!

He drives the old RV up to the nockershop and hauls on the ER brake, then climbs out and gets his box of broken bits to walk inside with.

"You can tell MISTER Lord that I don't give a damn about... " Then he hears that noise and the nocker turns "I got business."

Whoever Flynn Phlatgrapht was talking to , the nocker clearly sees the sounds made by that box as more important

"Pardon me? I've got some... oh. Oh. Hello." he bobs a greeting to Fellow Fae.

The other fae, a troll fellow, mmphs and walks off. The Nocker, Phlan waves off any bobbing, "You got something that's for sure. JangleDINGDINGdongbingleBLANG is a lot worse than Wonkawonkakerthump"

"I didn't... it's this drill. It's not working well. I need it to repair... I need it. Could you take a look at it?"

Phlan grabs the box and looks it over

"Oh this is a pain in the schutfarger but yeah I can fix this. Unless you want something brand new?"

"Oh, no, I'm sure I couldn't... no, thank you."

"Uh..... how much......?"

"Mmm well, if you're here, you're in luck. I don't just do repairs. I upgrade, so ... " And he haggles a bit

"Please, mister, I don't have much. A repair would be..... I don't need an upgrade, just an affordable replacement."

"Fine fine... " He lowers the price a great deal "But it'll still be better than it was. Shit econemy we've got if a Pisher can't make a go of it. you guys are good at getting work I 'll admit that much."

"Nice to have some other kiths that do some work for what they get" grumble grouse

"Thank you." grateful and humble.

He quickly strips the drill down to component parts, and then begins to replace and... good lord, what IS he adding in there? "So you working on a project? I'm Phlan by the way. Contrary to what some folks think, I own the place"

"I'm Abner." he returns "Yes, our... my RV needs a little fixing up. You have a nice place."

"It's a furkin shrine to hard ware repair" He says proudly "RV huh? Not a bad way to make it across the country if you can keep it maintained"

"Yes." his response and tone indicate that might be a challenge but.....

"What's wrong with it ?" A snort "if you forgot to change your oil that's self inflicted"

"I keep up with maintenance!" the elder huffs "I just... I have a friend and... I wish... nevermind!"

"A friend eh? mmph can't say I'm a people person but if they're worth drek you should probably be honest with him whoever he is"

"I am." firmly.

"Good.." The drill assembles in front of the boggan's eyes, some testing, then "Okay... I think we got this done"

"It.... works?"

"COURSE IT WORKS" A snort "Look buddy, when I take a job, I get it right. Not like our current 'lord' who frankly seems to ..." He clamps down "Nevermind"

"I'm sorry." miserably "I just... if it works I can try to fix our...t he RV."

"IF? Oh that's it, look buddy, where's this RV? I'll help you with it..."

"No! No... no, not now. Not just now. Thank you but.... I, uh, I must go."

"Sure, look buddy... just watch it around here. Our local lord?" A snort "He's a putz...but he's a dangerous putz."
