“How do you slay your foes without a blade? Your teeth are useless.”

"What is a bleed-water?"

Ariel says "Sounds messy"

“A rude and nasty creature. I do not know why Mother has not sent forces to purge them all from our waters. Back to wherever they came from.

They are strangers to our seas. They bleed without wounds, and cause frenzies with their blood-lies. If they think to steal our grottoes…” she snaps her teeth at the air, eyes gleaming dangerously. “They can TRY.”

"Maybe if I could see them?"

“You should have a sword.” She advises. “It wild be tiresome to have to meet NEW drylanders if they slew you outright.”

“Do you want to see them?” Her eyes gleam darkly. “I can show you where they swim. I will not be caught off guard again!”

"I DO have a sword, but I do not know if it will flame underwater. It is a magical flame, though..."

"I have a bow and arrow but it won't work well under water" A mmm

and the little horned girl has been getting better with it.

“What is ‘flame’? And bowenarrow?”

"Flame is... well, fire! Like... hot like lava? But made of air, instead of liquid."

"I think there's lava underwater..."

"A bow and arrow is like a weapon.. here..." She races off, and returns with a chimerical bow and quiver "See, this stick with the string? that's a bow, and these in the quivers are arrows. You take the arrow, put it in the bow and use the string to launch.. i could show you...."

"Absolutely not" Fontaine says, the girls may have forgotten he is there "This is a healing pool. Do not practice with weapons in here"

Lu looks a bit puzzled by 'lava' and 'hot'. Though, "You project small spears! Fantastic!" Impressed by the Bow, even if it would not work in the water.
