The albums Trina has found are filled with pictures. Mostly newer snaps, but still, 5, 10 years old? Not digital prints, these were taken on film, and the older ones on polaroid.
Beaches! Both black and white sand, smooth and rocky.
Ticket stubs from a Bob Marley tribute concert, in Kingston National Stadium. A shot of a large manor house that looks well kept - a restored plantation House with ocean views, which somehow has a bit of a sinister feel to it. Waterfalls... and the people in them. Most dark skinned, some light, and mixtures in between... why, in one of the newest 'old' photos - Trina knows HIM! That's a younger Dad, and Janet! This must be from his trip to Jamaica when Trina was young... not long after the divorce.
Soon Trina has the hang of picking out Janice in the pictures. She's not in most of them, so one might guess she's behind the photo lens. There is one man who bears a close resemblance to her, in a few of the pictures, tall and slender, with deep, soulful eyes, but not much of a smile. An older couple who may be parents, or maybe aunties, uncles, neighbors? Hard to say!
