Her hoof stamps, and the hoof print left behind shimmers, and the ground shakes... and she feels her energy fading... then the old troll woman steps forward, and puts a bit more glamour in her despite the dangers

Nessa whispers, "For Brightwinds, For Sparrow, for the Wounded who need healing.... and for me."

"It didn't work" Some one says...

but then Gerd blinks "Look.. the fountain!"

And the black waters are...clearing

then brighter...and the water bursts up, raining down again as clear crystal drops

and wounds patch and heal Eir-Frey says "I see what you're doing. " She looks to Gerd, "Your hand, a bit of glamour"

And Gerd gives her hand to Eir Frey , who pumps yet more glamour into the centaur who fuels the spell a bit more

And the grass grows green, and the woundedl et loose sighs of relief

Nessa lets herself be a conduit, flowing through and not keeping any for herself. Somehow the act of giving strengthens her, even as she gives away.

Her eyes are squeezed shut, focusing, she doesn't even know if it worked!

"Open your eyes, young centaur. See what your perseverance wrought" Eir-Frey insists

She blinks and starts by looking down at her hands.

All around her...the wounded are much more healed, the fontain totally purified

BLINK

Then she bows her head to the Grump. "I was cocky... I don't think I would have pulled it off. You helped me. Thank you, Eir-Frey."

"I know a bit of spring myself" Eir Frey inclines her head "A new art."

"I have two mentors who have been teaching it to me. One who works more on modern mortal things, and the other who is more in touch with nature... I fall somewhere in between, I guess." She offers a hand - damp, but at least not black with muck and longer. "Nessa Dawnchaser, of Brightwinds Barony. Our Sp- Our Baroness, Derynwydd, sent us to help."

She takes the hand "Eir Frey, old woman and grump sworn to none alive. " A sad smile

"Granddame Eir Frey. Thank you for saving my cantrip." She turns to look at the wounded, triaging to see if any need further care.. and looking for the armadillo pooka who seemed rather badly off!

He is wake and standing, still wounded but looking up "Oh Corn fritters and hushpupies that hurt powerful like letting an ex wife choose the sex toys"

Gerd's eyes go wide

Nessa dampens a cloth in the water, and goes over to mop his brow and wipe away traces of blood. "How are you feeling now?"

"Fitter than a Fiddle with a pretty thing plucking its strings"

"And that's... good?" She nods, hoping.

"Sure shooting is"

"I think that's positive, " Eirfrey tuts "Come, let's help the next wave. I wish we had dross"

"Can't you ask the Count for some?" Gerd asks

"He declined save for healing a few nobles.. there's a ball he wants to have the dross for" Eir frey says "For fireworks"

Gerd scoffs "Seems a Sparrow in the hand is more generous than a Count in the bush.." She bites down, "Pardon. Here, we have some dross"

She pulls out some of what Sparrow gave "For healing.'

"This will save lives as surely as any shield" the grandame says

Nessa bites her lip, following the grandame. But... she is thinking.
