'No duty is MERE for a troll, Sir" the thane says "I am Burke, Son of Bubba, who was Son of Bubba before him. " Ultra serious

"Then, Burke, son of Bubba, Son of Bubba before him" the Dame says "For the sake of your graces, I ask you to work with us until you know what is going on in full"

BUrke, son of bubba, who was son of bubba before him looks over at August at this "I do not normally trust Liams . I feel it on you. Why should I trust you and a woman who wears your wife's face?"

August shakes the bag to disrupt that, absently.

"You are correct, I am Liam. It is no secret. I am honest about that, and about this; I suspect an organized effort to effect the stability of this Duchy. If you know of Baroness Coradel and myself, you know that I would never act against her best interests. You may not trust me, that is honestly said; but you should trust what you know to be true, regardless."

A frown, the Thane nods, and says "This way" He leads them into a private room "You have my aid. here we may talk quietly" A beat "there is a sluagh who might spy, but I bribe her with tea"

August shakes the bag again. "The... sluagh. Could you describe her?"

"Ah. Dame. The guilty party is in this bag...." shake "And we have proof positive of the design and intent of the conspiracy."

"Miss Tern Moyle" he says "She's.. always watching me for no reason. Weird"

An amused look from the Dame who shakes her head and resumes her true form "Better?'

"Dame Bludwyn!" He gasps

"Ah. Much." a pause, and faint blush.

"That is, your own form suits you so well."

'She likes you." Bachdion says "My word, trolls are so frustrating at times. " he sighs 'And yes, sorry, my liege" he says to August "I went for the Baroness, but it never wwas here. Merely Dame Bludwyn in diguise ... as your wife. Why i'm not sure"

"The investigation is not done" the Dame says "Or at least, it was not. May I have the prisoner? I can cast Chronos while we wait"

"To, ah, misdirect and draw suspicion away from us. I would think." He hands the bag over "A pooka, Ivan Taylor. I have information on my cell phone to share with you as well."

"THank you" She opens it and counter weaves something "SToP that" And then casts as well, a a brow lifts "Well well... yes, Thane. I have now witnessed this man's past. he is mimicking the Jester of Earth Runes, in order to slander our graces under a false face it appears ."

Bachdion can see August relax at her words. Then the Baron turns to face him. "Can you go and find her? I'm not sure I should leave yet."

The Thane says "Treachery against my lieges?" His eyes might darken if he had a target "What else can I do?"

"Your wife said she's make it here, my lord. If I go now, how wil lI track her? " the Fiona knight asks

Well, he was relaxed for a moment at least. Now he just looks agonized, but nods at Bachdion's words.

'i will track her, Baron. It is the least I can do after suspecting... thane, hold the prisoner for me" She says and starts to work on a bunk then blinks "Ah, she's with a trol I don't know and 3 goats. They're about to hit the park's limits"
