Zara hears steps approaching the kitchen.. not unusual though they've given her space, but these are energetic younger feet

Benny bursts into the side kitchen... a note in his hand. Then he seems to realize something "Oh I forgot. " And he goes back out the side kitchen taking the note with him, and she hears knocking this time "Can I come in? I gotta message from the Baron"

"....Aye?"

He comes in and hands over the message "He wanted me to give you this" Benny sniffs "Smells realll good , ma'am"

"Mm."

She reads the note. "Ah. Ah... if August wishes."

"You don't gotta but I think he'd like it? Cause he's not a mean baron, he's a good one" Benny assures "Why he took me on as a page! One day? I'll be a whole BOOK and Bronte will collect me"

A small smile.

"You want me to tell him you're coming, or tell him no thank you? Or I could just not.. I don't mind as long as I do it right" Benny's a sweet boy

And Zara may prepare to seek out her friend who clearly hopes to see her
