"Are you okay?" Gerd almost whispers

He nods, scowling - but not much more than usual.

Dagmar pulls her hands back, sheepishly.

Symon's senses adjust further. The alleyway they're in is the sort that might get foot traffic. there's graffit on the wall next to them that seems to promise kithain activity:

"There are a lot of casinos around here, of course, some of them pretty run down" she says

"Well, SYmon - you saw it?"

He nods towards the grafitti. "Seems a good clue."

(Perception plus kenning for both)

Symon sees a glimmer under the paint and... is that an arrow?

He taps lightly at Dagmar's sleeve, pointing with his chin - noticing perhaps a few moments before the troll.

And Dagmar sees it too

"Hey. Nice."

To answer Gerd's question from earlier, he gestures for both Trolls to follow as he cautiously goes the direction of the arrow.

They make their way through the alley ways. a passed out homeless man sleeps on what looks to be a ratty sleeping bag. When they pass him, he mutters in his dreams "Turn left at next choice.... " then goes back to dreaming about Lynda Carter

They continue...

and come to the back of another Casino, that says 'employees (And dreamers) only'

Symon glances up at his companions. "We're not really either. Knock, or just walk?"

"Turn left, maybe?"

Symon pretends that he didn't forget that clue, and nods. " In the door and to the left?"

'Sounds good. " Gerd says

He hesitates, then reaches to open the door.

it doesn't blow up. Nor does it zap them with a cantrip. Instead, it opens

Dagmar lurks protectively, looking around for threats.

He steps in, looking first to the right, and then continuing to the left.

To the right, he sees a redcap who seems to be holding up the interior wall

well, leaning against it

A glance to Dagmar. Have they been noticed?

The trolls probably have

Symon banks on that and shifts into the lee of the trolls - not hiding, per say, but lurking a bit in their shadows.

Dagmar casts a very large shadow. She seems okay with her role as a shelter.

Gerd is tall, but not Dagmar tall. Still, Goth witch outfit. so.. notiible/

the redcap looks over the two trolls, "You need haven or what?'

Grunt.

"I don't speak troll" He says at the grunt

Grunt-shrug.

"You' he looks at Gerd, "You vocal?"

Gerd nods

"ker rist" the Cap says

Symon realizes he has hidden and can, if he wants, slip away

"Mmph." Brow.

Directions available - can he get past the redcap, or is there another way to go?

He can, he has a blue wall and the cap is to the right, so he can go left unobserved if he wants

"English, do you speak it?" the cap asks

A soft touch on Dagmar's side, a hint, before he sneaks past.

Gerd looks to Dagmar as if seeing how she long she wants to risk keeping this up

Symon, slipping to the left , keeps kenning and realizes this building is a freehold. Not all of it, but he's on the perimeter of it

Interesting! He continues onward, kenning lightly to see what else he might discover along the way.
