And the 15 sluagh and their cages vanish! Were it no for Zara, Earl would fall over

Zara hisses like a cat, putting herself between Earl and the dog.

She yanks Earl to the side, getting both herself and Earl out of the way just in time

"Zara, go.. find the blacksun, I'll lead them on a chase" He pats her ass, launching her with a hopscotch up to the roof!

"Survive, Love. Show them what a true Hunter is."

She is on top of the hold, her kithsibs safe, but she must finnd a way to the black sun...the varich who showed mercy. Within the hold itself!

The Ondine said the Black Sun was kept in luxury...

Sidhe, bless, tend towards drama. Is there a tower?

Oh, sweet Dreaming there is! a garret! how dare the Varich steal her ideas!

Zara picks her way across the roof, to scale the tower.

And so she finds a window to the garret, though boy are her toes tired. Another damned ward?

She taps on the stone and whispers. "Tell me the nature of your duty."

"Ah, but the poor soul within is a sluagh, can you not see? They must be ejected. The sun is dim, a creature of shadows..." Zara touches her mouth, her ears, her eyes - a fuddle.

the ward freaaks out "Ick Ick ick! It's inside me! get the hotwater, get the disinfectant!"

"Aye, expel it!"

And within there's a startled "Какого черта?" not from the garret, but from the wilder varich who is magically yeeted innto the air and out!

Well, they're out. Zara heads after.

The wilde girl manages to catch heself on a limb, and dangles rather than break her neck "What the hell.." English this time "just happened?"

Zara hangs over the edge of the roof. "We are leaving."
