Gwen tests a target dummy, almost mechanically. She's not sure who she is angrier at, Kodger, Thistle, or herself.

She stabs and thrusts, lances and skewers!

"DAMN IT"

"Calm down. Your anger is getting the better of you, and that's affecting your focus." The voice of Danica, who leans on the rail outside of the practice yard (repurposed paddock).

"I..." A bite of her tongue, she doesn't bring up Dancia's own anger flash, "You're right. I just.. I want that teacher dead"

"Ah. The Autumn person." She frowns herself. "Can you not avoid him? If needs be, I'll find a way to force him to move. A criminal record, perhaps. I can look into a way to pin a crime on him that would lose his job."

"He's broken Thistle. " A frown "And avoiding him is...not easy. He walks the halls. I guess we could plant drugs on him, or slip a drug that makes him appear intoxicated on the job" She ponders, "A high concentrate might do it."

"Sorry, Dancia I'm.. she thinks I set up the Kiln... she wouldn't help put it together. So now we have a kiln she hates, because she hates herself, because Mr. Blaine fucked her up"

"The fact that she got so angry is a good sign. It would be more worrisome if she was dull and quiet, complacent. He may have dimmed her enthusiasm, but Nockers are no so easily subdued. Nor are trolls." She claps a hand on one of Gwen's shoulders. "Give her time. She'll come around."

"I feel like I lost a friend" She admits "Which is weird, I don't know her THAT Well, but she was infront of my nose the whole time."

"She was in front of a Fledge. You cannot be blamed for missing her, even if she hadn't been stifled. Now, if you miss ANOTHER fledge, then we will talk."

"Mmm you and Linnae , still keeping me on my toes" A nod "Thanks for that. Not sure how good a Daireann I'm going to be. Tatsail and I have..talked"

"And what did the old man have to say?"

"The fior is going to be rough, a lot of folks beating on me, while I try to beat as many as I can... a real no win scenerio... that doesn't worry me. The problem is, House Dairean has a thing about their members being whole" She looks back "Without deformity or blemish. I may be..blemished"

"What do you mean? How can a house of warriors exist without scars?"

"It's not the scar that he's wondering about" She takes a finger and taps at a bare patch of her flesh with it, her stony flesh

"I thought I'd gotten used to be a freak.." grumble "But this... the idea it's going to be official with a possible house rejection, that irks"

"Is not the fact that the Dreaming itself accepted you enough for them?" She scowls. "It's a part of you, and a gift, not a blemish. It's natural armor, as pure and right as Oakenshield. If they have a problem with that, then I'd tell them where to stick their househood."

A bit of a smile escapes Gwen, "They have their culture, their customs, their traditions. I can't be all 'respect mah heritage' about being Amerind and flip them off for having the same, can I? But Tatsail agrees that it's probably going to be seen as a gift, armor" A look at her "How.. are you and your sister doing?"

"We are doing our duty." Danica straightens up, and her expression may as well be stone as well.

"That is the bare minimum, isn't it?" Dame Gladiola arches a brow, then relents "I'm sorry if it's a sore subject, but I care for you both and the rift troubles me. I would be dishonest to pretend otherwise. You need not heal that rift for my sake, but until you do, I probably AM going to peek now and then into the matter. If it gets too annoying you can always kick my ass around the sparing yard. Turns out knighthood doesn't really grant extra special melee skills."

Not entirely true, knighthood may not have, but the saining has helped her control with the spear even more

"If you're done abusing the poor dummy, I'll give you a workout."

"I could use it" She admits

"One thing that does worry me about your skin, Dame? Don't let yourself get cocky. You end up against some punk with a gun? You're as squishy mortal as the rest of us." A sigh. "Not that I think you're about to go out and challenge gangbangers... for one thing, you'd be stepping on MY turf. But the thought remains."

She shrugs out of her jacket and starts stretching.

"It's good advice." She agrees, "To a mortal gun, I'm just a very toned Native chick with a head full of stubborn"

"You thought at all of what you want to do when you graduate? Outside of KNightin' around at Silverwolf. You'll need something mortal to keep you grounded."

"Dog trainer, there are credentials I'd have to get. Other options are...well, I'm starting to realize that I may not be the sharpest of the wilders. Thistle is brilliant, and Arthur is intelligent. I'm not stupid, but I have to work at it hard. Though I did get that extra credit so there's that"

A grunt. "Are you gonna go work at a PetMart or something? Take care. You need to watch out for Bedlam, even as well grounded as you are. Keep an eye on your fledges, too. Thistle is probably safe, but that Arthur seems like he'd get distracted by a butterfly and lose a month without realizing folk are looking for him."

"Honest to god, I thought Linnae was going to shake him till he rattled at the auction" Limbering as best she can

"And to answer your question, not sure. THought I'd try to train rescue dogs. I do have a mortal boyfriend, that helps right?"

"It does, as long as you're using him for grounding, and not bringing him over to the sparkle side." She agrees. "How is the Chesterton kid? He treating you right?" A bit of a glower there.

"Yeah, he's been so damn nice. " A blush "I worry I don't spend enough time with him. Between Lacrosse and stuff here, I lose sometime I could spend smoo..err walking with him" A light blush

"You are young. There will be plenty of time for... walking."

A BLUSH "let's spar"
