Siv says "Piper," Whispering in her ear "You're not goinng to believe this, but there's a sidhe here.. might be a Liam"

Piper has frozen.

"Let's get her out of here" Siv whispers to Jonas. Jonas nods ad moves to Piper's other side. Acting as a living blue wall, the two united hide Piper as they guide her out past the new comers

She doesn't try to break away and run, but neither does she look up until they are safely out of the diner, and the door closed. Only then does she exhale, and turn to peek through the window.

It's the Eshu she met with a shorter sidhe girl with glasses. They are getting a quick lunch it seems

Siv says "How did I MISS this? You blue screened"

"WE missed this" Jonas frowns "We've been negligant"

Piper shakes her head. "It's not your problem to fix." She protests. Trolls!

She takes a step back from the window, though. So much for traveling with Njera...

"Oh like you wouldn't help either one of us if we had trauma" Siv scoffs "Pull my other very long very athletic blue drumstrick while you're at it"

That sidhe inside must be Titus' friend.. the name was the same anyway

"I don't like you seeing me like this." Piper whispers, even though they're not close enough for anyone else to hear.

"If you can't have a moment of weakness with those who love you, when can you?" Jonnas says "And you have been there for us"

"Yeah, god knows you held me together" Siv nods

"But I don't want to be... " She nods, understanding. "If I let you rescue me every time I need it, I'll never be able to rescue myself."

Siv's mouth opens to protest then, she frowns "Damn it. I hate when otherrs have points." A weak try "You look great in a damsel's sundress?"

She swallows. "Jonas, do you w-want a cup of coffee?"

"I would welcome one" he says "If you're sure you want to try it here? We can ggo elsewhere"

Piper straightens up and goes for the door. The bell chimes as she opens it... eyes on the counter. Don't look up. Two coffees, cream and sugar on the side. Two coffees, cream and sugar on the side.

And her trolls watch her go, wanting to shield her, barricade her...

Siv openly fidgets. Jonas more reserved

Tap tap tap tap tap tunk - she's at the counter. Eyes ahead, "Two sugars, cream and coffee... Two creamers... shit. Shit."

"Sorry, what was that?" The lady at the counter blinks

"Coffee. Please. Two."

"Sure, any cream or sugar?"

Nod nod!

A side-eye glance to the left and the right.

Things goinn well, then, she looks to the side and sees.. crap. there's the sidhe sipping her own coffee

Back down at her hands. Money, right. A bill set on the counter and slid across.

"Okay" the bill is rung up, change given

Change is left as a tip, and the cups scooped up. Don't freak out. No eye contact, there's the door!

"Hello, Piperr" Njera says... butt she's siting with the S-I-D-H-E

Inhale, exhale, and she turns, mostly looking at the coffee. "Hi, Njera. I was just heading out." A shimmy step towards the door.

"Oh, I won't keep you then" The Eshu says "See you later at the party?"

"Is your friend coming?" She blurts out, then regrets the question.

The sidhe near her gives a gentle smile, no teeth, then says "It's ah... not for me. I try to respect boundaries."

A slow nod, and she swallows. "Not sure if I'll be there. My girlfriend came to see me. She's titled, so I wasn't sure if she'd be welcome..."

They glance at the mortals then Njera whispers "It's frowned on, too many folks with concerns but if you vouch, and if you get JJJ to back you up, it's fine"

Where IS JJJ?

Oh crap. he's outside talking to Siv and Jonas

"Ah! Excuse me..." She backpedals out the door, nearly spilling the coffee.

And finds herself catching a conversation "... and so she pretty much OWNED the first jam sesson, hasn't been dunked yet"

"Yeah, her voice is pure wonder," Siv says "if you ever want to hear her at Goldfinch, it's got really great accoustics"

She swallows. "I got coffee."

"Thank you, PIper" Jonas ttakes up the coffee "You okay?" Worried

"I kind feel like I'm gonna throw up. But I haven't eaten anything, so I got that going for me?"

Siv moves to her "You were very brave."

She does not mock
