Piper enjoys the playacting, as well as the reefer that is undoubtedly smoked during the show. Another welcome distraction!

One pooka holds a bong near her ear "What's that mistress? Kill them all? Take the weed for ourselves?"

Snickers at that

The movie is ending, folks are in a good mood...

When... storm clouds begin to gather.

Piper looks up at the darkening sky... "I don't suppose anyone knows Skycraft and can, like... work it backwards?"

"I think that IS skycraft... Sam has spotted something.."

She looks around for the pooka - is he on the ground, or up in the sky?

there's a bald eagle flying , stirin up the storm clouds

"Sam's making the storm? But why?" She hurries to make sure that her instrument is tucked away somewhere it can stay dry.

JJJ says "it's cool, watch.. he's going to drag the storm with him.."

And just like that, the eagle does... he flies to the east and with him, carries a downpour! the sky is clear ... right over them

but nnot far, rain so thick it blocks out the view

"Okay, that is pretty cool."

"Yeah, that Naar's a regular Merlin Lebowski" Titus muters

"....Naar? Lebowski?" She laughs. "I think you've lost me. But it's impressive. Did he call the storm, or just move it?"

"He did both.." JJJ nods "Seen him do this befoe, to stop a huntinn party"

"Hunting party?" She squeaks a bit, and finds herself backing a way before realizing that she hasn't done anything... "Who are they after?"

"We'll find out soon I..."

the gates open

And some comes in, on his shoulder, a drenched satyress with red hair, freckles. She'd have that girl next door look

Piper looks around for a blanket, towel, anything to help dry her off.

She finds one and snatches it up, whoever was usinng it can find it later

Hopefully there's not someone - or someones - now exposed from under that blanket, but if there was, she's already trotting over. "Here, let me help." Offering to wrap the satyr in the blanket. Is she injured, conscious?

baggy eyed, she looks scared, hungry, annd frankly might have been dirty if not for the rain

there are a few bruises, the sort you might get from runnning so fast you don't care if you fall or slam against things

She's conciosus though "Where? Where am I?"

"Between the bicuspid of injustice and the molar of rash action" Sam says and nods approvingly to PIper and her help

"You're somewhere safe." Piper says, firmly, wrapping the blanket around first, and then an arm around her. "Come on in. I'll introduce you."

She realizes that she doesn't actually know who, if anyone is in charge... but leads the lady to JJJ.

JJJ says "I'm JJJ, it's cool. Welcome to the Lake. You're safe here"

Piper looks back behind her, checking for anyone else watching the storm...

The storm seems to be still on the march, winding a path as if it's chasing someone

"JJJ, who are they after? If a hunter is at our gates... maybe we can help draw them off, break into a few different directions and maybe lose the trail. I don't have any meta, but in a storm I could pass as this lady."

"Me" Gilly ggasps "they're after me..." She answers "They think I... I didn't do it. I swear I didn't"

Does it looks like they are chasing something/someone actively, or following a trail? Unclear...

She doesn't see anyone, but then, that storm may have scared trackers off

She relaxes a little, going back to the satyress. "They seem to have backed off for now. Here..." Offering a drink of water.

Gilly takes it and drinks it greedily

Then says "Thank you. "

Sam speaks up "They've been blown back to Oz, or perhaps Arty land...either way, someone teach her the laws here and especially that rule about the shrimp fork"

"got it, Sam"

That from JJJ

"..Artyland?" Baffled. "Uh, thanks?"

IT's late, so Gilly is given a real meal which she eats like a wolf

Piper trots slowly up and down the length of the wall... watching for any traces of hunters coming back.

She's no the only one, but it looks like Sam lost them. Below, she's sure JJJ is being his usual nice self

Spike snorts , also on patrol "She didn't kill him..whoever him is. You okay? "

She nods. "Being chased like that must have been terrifying... like being a hunted animal, ready to be torn apart."

"Yeah," Spike nods "We love the ggift of pan but the gift of speed ain't bad when someone is on your ass"
