"He's forgotten all about the fright. He does keep asking when he can go to the 'Castle' though." A chuckle. "I think you;re better than Disney Land, not that we've been there."

"Maybe you can be sometime but, don't hold me to that , it will take some finagling" the Baroness tells her "The other thing I wannted tot tell you , Dame Calanthe will not return for at least a year and a day. And, I will have more say, much more say in the hold"

Surprise! "Has she been sent on a Quest?"

"Of sorts, one of redemption "

"Well, fates willing, all will turn out well in the end. What does that mean for your household, Lady? Was she not in charge of much?" She straightens up. "You must tell me how I can assist you. I'm but one daughter of eve, but my Lady's word is my desire."

"For now, When you come into the hold, I would like you to focus on assisting Marigold. We have a saining coming soon and I think she can direct you best o how to help with preparation"

A gasp, and she nods. "A blessed Naming, of course. I will be certain to help. Miss Marigold works fastest when not observed, but I can certainly help her with serving and cleaning when she's busy. There must be feasts, and guests, and gifts..." Starry eyed.

"Gwen hopes to keep it small but it should be lovely, I think Marigold may send you up and down some steps"

"That I can do!" Brightly.

"Now, is there anything I can do for you? We have enough food here for you and Rien? Are we short of cleaning supplies or..well even a few luxuries you'd like?"

Flo reassures Nadeen that they are well stocked - she's gone shopping with the stipend left her. "Is all well with the Lady Sylvi? I haven't seen her by for some days."

"She's moving back to New Jersey, turns out a career opportunity that she can't refuse has arisen"

A sigh "I'm going to miss her company though. It seems like a lot of my friends won't be here as often as I like"

Hesitantly she offers, "You'll always have me by your side, Lady."

"Oh now, if you get a better life possible for you and your son I suggest you take it, but, thank you for saying so. The Baron and I are together now. I'm not terribly lonely"

"Were you not already a couple? Oh... OH!" Flo's eyes flash and she beams, taking Nadeen's hands. "I am so very happy for you, my Lady! But you should not be lonely at all. You should have a royal court to amuse you, why, troubadours and bards and jesters and playmakers, jugglers and fools, at least a dozen handmaidens... well, I'll do what -I- can." She nods firmly!

"You're worth at least three handmaidens all by yourself, Flo, just as you are" But her joy shines "As for... the court. Well, the baron I may talk about openings"

"You really should have ladies-in-waiting, though. Other ladies of true nobility to serve as your companions, as the Lady Sylvi did."

"Men... ah, even your Baron may not understand, but you must have your ladies around you." A smile.

A look of delight at something "Yes, I really must ask Lady Sylvi for some suggestions on that, but you bring up good points. Now I'm going to change clothes here and then head back to the hold. Care to join me?"

"May I bring Rian with me? If not, I shall come by in a few hours, m'lady permitting, to find a sitter."

"Please, bring him along. You know how he makes Marigold smile"

A smile to Nadeen. "I'll go heat the shower for you and we'll be ready when you are."

"And you MUST let me braid your hair..."

"mmm I suppose, done just so it might catch my lord's eye" A bit of pleasure at that notion "Very well. Thank you" She ggives her leave

So it shall be done! Flo mentions slyly about how the modest mention of how a new hair piece may emphasis her Lord's appearance by her side may lead to such a gift... of course, a Lady could always buy such for herself, but she oughten't HAVE to, is the thing... Clearly the kinain has picked up a bit here and there from other court ladies in the past.

Clearly , Flo is a bad influence, or a helpful one! Or both

But no doubt Aiden will enjoy it
