She tilts her head into the touch of his hand, her eyes closing with pleasure for a moment. Then a sigh at his question. "I'm not certain. I think...a little. But it all sort of just came clear to me, and...and I was worried about talking about it."

"Well, that's... part of the problem. If you need to talk to me talk to me. I love you after all and.. I love you very much but sometimes I worry you're afraid I'm delicate or something? "

"It's not that. Not exactly. I mean, I know you're not delicate...but that doesn't mean I can't hurt you. And...I hate hurting people."

"It makes me feel like a pretty crappy troll," she says wryly.

"Your dad...cuts people up.. with a notched Axe." he points out "I mean, someimes I worry he doesn't even clean it after"

(He does, but Olgar enjoys the idea others might worry about chimerical tetnus)

"That's a different kind of hurt."

Colton considers "it is" And concedes "But we're in love. That means.. we're vulnerable to each other and.. that's okay. As long as we aren't trying to cause pain it's okay..well, it's tolerable and fixable that sometimes hurt will accidentally occur. Don't be so afraid to risk it... just have the Band-Aids handy. And I'll try the same?"

She looks dubious, but nods. "I'll try."

"Best we can do" he nods "Your dad does clean his axe though right? that offends me on professional level if he doesn't"

She laughs. "I can't tell you that. That'd be betraying a family secret!"

A grinn "Fine fine" A tilt of his head "I believe I owe you an hour of three of holding you while we netflix and chill or whatever don't I?"

"I think..." she says, regarding him in turn "...that we might even do a little bit more than just holding."

"That would be nice too" his eyes light up

She smiles and nods. "I think so, yeah." And she gives him a kiss.

And a kiss is returned
