For Briar, it was a weird night... on one hand, Chucky boy recognized her for a monster and nearly pissed himself. On the other hand, Gwen seems to enjoy sucking face, which is gross.

But a new day dawns, and she is practicing her purpose once again.

A sigh. Gwen is being all gross and teenager-y. As a girl who models behavior around a masked murderer of necking camping teens, she takes this as a personal offense.

Seriously, Briar may have to read up what order to kill people in. At least Gwen isn't a blonde. There's like a law you go after those first

“Yeah… Gwen can be ‘Final Girl’, if she shapes up.” Nodding to herself

That's when Briar sees it, perhaps more offesive than Gwen making suck face... it's Glass, HER glass, with flowers in a bow around her neck

“Argh!” She groans, as disgusted as Gwen might be if HER Ivan showed up covered in blood and gore.

“Who did this to you, girl?”

Glass wags! So brave to endure this!

“It’s tied in a BOW. Not even a decent noose…” she gripes. “Not that I’d choke YOU, Glass. But mugs get all freaked out by that stuff.”

As she fumbles with the bow, reluctant to bite it off and get a mouthful of fresh blooms.

The bow comes lose and a voice says "Hey, she looked prettier that way" Blossom comes out "I worked hard on that. She needs it. Bloodhounds aren't very attractive"

“It wasn’t Gwen?” Briar looks almost disappointed. She’d been thinking of ratting her out, but only if it was deserved.

“Wait, you mean YOU’RE the one.., what do you mean, not attractive?”

Briar’s already small, piggish eyes narrow a bit.

"Well, they get all old wrinkly and jowly even when hey're not old... with baggy eyes tha look bloodshot and some slobber.... I mean,GGlass is Sweet but .. she's not as regal looking as OTHER breeds"

Briar scowls, marching towards Blossom and jabbing a finger at her pointedly. “Bloodhounds ain’t no pretty dress up bitch brat poodle shits. They WORK for a living. And they have wrinkly-ass faces to catch smells. That’s how they can track a ghosts fart a county away. You. APOLOGIZE. To my dog.”

"I.."She backs up startled "I.." then crosses her arms "I'm not apoloizing to a DOG. Glass didn't mind"

“You’re gonna apologize to THIS dog. Or you’re going to answer to ME.”

Briar is a good foot or so shorter than the centaur childling… why shoes it feel like she needs to shrink down and hide somewhere small and hidden?

“Not for the flowers, but for what you said.” She growls.

A gulp forms in the centaur's throat- Why does she keep imagining what it would be like to have a jackal or hyena tear her belly out from below? "F..finne... " She looks at Glass "I'm sorry for what I said already"

Briar looms a moment longer, then she asks Glass, “satisfied?”

Glass cocks her head slightly to the side, and shows she is not ugly, just ..differently adorable! then she wuffs,deep voiced for her size

“Yer lucky. She says she forgives you. THIS time.

And you know? At least she's a PROPER fae hound, she knows what she is, Pedigree and shit. And good at her job.”

A pointed look up and down over Blossom. “Ain’t no one know what centaurs is good for. Maybe nothing. Maybe you're not even really kithain. None of you been sained yet.”

A hoof stamp "I AM really a Kithain. I'm rare and special!"

“You know what rare and special is? SIDE. Show. FREAK!” Briar laughs.

“Maybe they wanna charge a dollar to look at you!”

"You're a JERK!" She says and turns and huffs and departs...perhaps she was abou to cry? Maybe not

Briar hold onto Glass’s collar until Blossom is out of sight. “Serves her right for calling you ugly.” She mutters.

So why does she have that little niggling feeling that maybe she shouldn't have said that? Ugh.

“Let’s go get a treat, and we can get that ribbon of you.” The best way to deal with feelings like that? Ignore ‘em!

Yup. Bottle em up, let them feser over time. Then BAM.. that's the redcap way

And at the word treat Glass wags! She too hungers with the hunger of a beast!
