A blush "I.. well, I ." He wants to have sex with me! Oh shit, he wants to have sex with me. gulp not ready.

Then she focuses on the rest, the hands

"You're wonderful" She finally says "You're the sweetest guy I...you're perfect"

He SQUEEZES her hand, sensing hesitation. "You don't have to... I won't like you LESS. I just... shit. Gwen, I'm HUMAN, and seventeen. If you wanted to..."

"What I want, what I REALLY want? Is whatever you want. And nothing more." He says, firmly.

"I want to... meet you parents, even if they're dem- if they're different, like you. Get to know you better. Be close to you. I'm not in any rush." He meets her gaze, and while there is desire there, there is also honesty.

"You really ARE perfect, thank you for understanding. I'm not ready for .. that. " SHe admits "But yes, you'll meet my family. They're.. kind of like me. Some of them, tohers are a different kind of magic. But you can't tell our secrets. It would be like... asking men in black to discect us"

He shakes his head. "Never!"

"Okay, now here's the other thing... you have some of my magic in you, that means this world you're in , you can be a part of it, but it can also hurt you. So don't get cocky."

He blinks at that, and gives her a smile - distracted by reaching up to run a hand through her hair, stroking her horns curiously. "So you DID roofy me... with magic? And Now I can see spirits and demons... people will think I'm crazy if I talk to stuff that isn't there. Are other things real, too? Aliens... ghosts... Sasquatch?"

"If you go telling people what your'e seeing right now, one of two things that will happen, either theyll think you're nuts and you will at BEST get a lot more therapy, at worse end up in a cell for what they think is drug use or bonkersville. OR, they'll believe you, and you'll end up getting us all put in cages or government labs." She blushes "And, could we not call it a roofie? You've still got complete judgement here, and focus. If anything this is me being honest with you"

"Sorry, yeah. You're right. You... gave me the red pill, and now I can see the world like it is. I mean, this is REAL? Right? I'm not imagining it, it's just... I'm not seeing new things, just things I couldn't see before?"

"In some cultures, this would be a visionquest, only that often involves training and peyote. And yeah, the whole world is magical in parts, where the dreams still touch anyway" She sighs "I'm afraid it's less so than it used to be. "

"I can see it now, though. And I can see you. I promise to keep your secret... I mean, like you said, if I don't, I'd get locked up." Still a hand trailing over to lightly wrap around her, but not in a pushy way. More, reassuring himself that she's actually real, even as floating motes of starlight trail by and threaten to drag his attention away.

She lets him and wraps arms back over him in turn "Fee fi fo, fum" a whisper and she says "Would you like to wander around and see some of the beauty of the world ?"

"I want to see it all." He grins at her, "Or just the parts that are here." Smooth talker, or at least trying to be.

"Come on.." She leads him a bit further away "Let's see if the sky has a talking cloud or star or something... you never know what dreams may come" ANd she shows him.... a green cheese moon that flickers gooey then turns normal, then back again. That tree over there? He wasn't imaginging it, it really did have grabby hands.. "Duck" she warns and moves him through... and yes, such things as hedgehogs with glow sticks

He follows, wide eyed child of mortal man - and son of Carnival Queen. Opened wide to the danger of the dreaming, and yet guarded as well as any treasure.

As often as not, when she pointes out this wonder or that, she finds him looking instead at her.

"This is the border of Narnia and The happy Hunting grounds, this is the echo of Neverneverland, and the spirit world where unicorns dance iwth thunderbirds"

"I know about Thundercats, but not Thunderbirds." He grins, welcoming the story - he teases!

"Oh you're killing me here" she grins though and tells a tale of thunderbird, there are so many

It's out of season, but Gwen thinks heard... was that a childish giggle? When she turns to look, just a glimpse of cherubic feathers disappearing back into the night.

But she finishes her story, and says "And thus is the thunderbird a cleanser of the land, but never to be taken lightly"

"Mmm." Was he listening? Or just letting her voice play over him as he holds her hand and watches the stars dance in the sky. "I can't wait to see what the rest of the world looks like. If the moon and stars are like this.... what bout the Sun, the ocean, the mountains, heck, even our school might be cool!"

She wonders if she should tell him he'll forget? At least until next enchanted "A lot depends on what dreams are about. There are nightmares too. Scary and dangerous stuff"

Soft crunching sounds - Chuck doesn't notice, but Gwen does. Footsteps on a path nearby.

"Shhh" she says quieting "Company"
