August continues to gently wipe the blood and grim from Leonora. "Coradel's gone to look; she'll find him." he assures.

"I should get up and go after.. the unicorn she's got to be careful.. it's quick and sneaky..."

"It.... so a unicorn? Not a member of House Scathach?" he clarifies tenderly.

"CHimera.. august, it was insane.. called me a slut and other .. less nice things" A frown

He mirrors her expression. "That does not sound like a -true- unicorn....."

"Pardon." He pulls out his phone and texts.

He puts the phone away and turns back. "Forewarned is forearmed."

"I hope she's okay... I .. oh that was weird"

"What was? The attack?"

"Yes.. the unicorn seemed... psychopathic. Almost rabid. It could sense I was no virgin.. and that really seemed to offend it"

August blushes, just his ear tips. "Ah."

"Sorry August... I .. " She plays with his spit curl "You do blush pretty"

And he blushes deeper as he ckears his throat. "You have lost some blood. You should rest."

"but Cordy's in danger because of me"

"She isnt fond of that nickname." He reminds her, but with affection. "Coradel is bringing Thistlesnort home. How dangerous could that be?"

"I suppose.. yeah. .and sorry, " A pause "Can I call her my favorite Delli?"

"Once, maybe." with gentle humor.

"mm " She squeezes his hand weakly.

He lifts her hand and kisses the back of it. "Rest." he recommends.

"Do I have a choice? " She fusses

"No." he says, smiling.

"Poop. He'll be ok, right?" Speaking of Thistlesnort

"Of course. He's with Coradel."

"Kay..."She drifts to sleep again

August keeps vigil.

"I'm sure they'll be back soon." August murmurs quietly, soothingly "Coradel, Delores, and Thistlesnort."

His phone buzzes.

And he checks it and texts back.
