And tthey head to Club Zero Cool for a celebration, getting their private side room again

"Garcon, your best pizza!" Don is already saying "And it's on the boss" meaning Lupe

"Why not?" Lupe agrees "And thanks"

Not just one pIzzza, but three, enough for variety and the bellies to fill. The finest vinage of Dr. Pepper is soon in Sam's hand

Sam is, once again, Sam.

And somehow, just what she looked like in the Umbra is.. fuzzy...

And except for dolly, the teens with her are just kids or at least young adults

Dolly's hump a reminder of her shame of blood she cannot escape

And yet even the Fianna makes no mention of it

Well, to Dagmar, Dolly is just another "kid" - she likes the Child of Gaia.

She's a sweetie.

It should be noted, they eat like wolves. It would appear time in the umbra stirred their hunger too

Dagmar keeps pace!

And that's when a figure, a man looking close to 30 with a shaved head and scar unnder one eye, comes in, his nose sniffing

Not just into the club, bu into their side room

Dagmar tenses. "Guys..."

"Shit" Lupe muters "Sam, you should go. I'll fill you in later. "

"Lupe" the man says in a rusty voice, then his eyes fall on Dagmar/Sam, and whatever else he was going o say shifts "I thought it would just be you and your... friendns"

"Sam IS a friend" Concrete Lullaby declares

Dolly bites her lip but she and Don nod

"I can go."

"Catch you later, Sam" Lupe assures "We'll talk about sports again right?"

"Oh yeah. Basketball camp."

The shave headed man watches Sam go, his expression beinng like a wolf who has found a duck in his cave.

The othes wave or say goodbye

Once Sam is 'gone' she might over hear "Why did you not head straight to the Caern..?" But the conversation grows private fast

She frowns. But she will check with Lupe later.

Not quite the celebration she hoped for, but there is no denying the sucess, and she had a large part in that

And, she made new friends!
