By now, the Shadow Lord has taken a crinnos form, annd he looks.. damn impressive. Dagmar is not used to others protecting her, or trying to, but the theurge is the shaman of the pack, and this is his turf. One can bargain with spirits, or demand, or even try to command.

A blink, surprised at the defense from Sour Wind - he had seemed less enthused to have her here.

The giantess looks at them both, the honest wyldling, and the upstart theurge, and.. grins "I see... the fear lingers, but she has yoked it. I no longer feel shamed to have her here wylding or not. I was goinng to test her, but ... as you say, mystic. I would crush you all I suspect, but what is the point? Besides, now that I see she can push her fear behind her, I would not want to slaughterr the daughter of eve within the child of the wyld. " She looks to Dagmar "You are twin souled I see. Do not assume only the wyld part of you has a voice here." Annd she turns to go even saying "I go now"

"Ah.." Another pause. "Yes'm."

Respect seems safe!

And she departs the fog with her

the pack almost collectively releases a breath they didn't know they were holding

"You can see me? That was... man, that was one hell of a chimera..."

"Spirit.."

"We see both of you" Dolly nods

And there , in the water of the the stream, is Sam! A mortal reflection of the troll form.

Don the Fab is laughing AT You actually claps Something Sour is In the Wind on the back "Who had an extra helping of balls in his fruit loops this morning?"

"Oh, weird... I, well.. I don't think this is against the rules?"

The Shadow Lord snorts "I'm the Theurge of the pack, the guide to this place. You all rely on me, and I do not not shirk my duties. " He looks at Dagmar "I do not know your rules, but right now? We are already in so we continue. Are you all right?"

"Yeah. Weirded out, but alright."

"Caution is wise, too many doubts are dangerous" He says, then looks to Lupe "Shall we continue, Little mother?"

Lupe acually looks.. proud? Then she nods "Let's keep it going"

"The spirit kept shifting features.. Euro to african.. was that black face then? " Don asks

"Dude, no. Some Dreams are from many places."

Dolly smiles at Dagmar "he's just trying to be clever. Glad you're okay now"

Lulu sniffs at the Sam reflection, then looks up at Dagmar's troll form "So this is who you are! I like them both." And her tail wags a bit

"Trolls are stubborn. Yeah.. I'm both. Human and troll. Two souls, like the spirit said but.. uh.. stirred together?"

"Hey, you got your pixie dust in my mortal clay ," Don rambles as they move on "No, you got your mortal clay all over my pixie dust!" a beat "And that's how we got channgelings, the reese's peanut butter cups of this world of darknness"

Another snerk.

"Okay, so Ragabash are pooka."

"If he gets too obnoxious for you, Dagmar, let me know. I'm allowed to claw him, and try not to laugh at his jokes. It just enncourages him" Lupe nods at the Ragabash pooka comparison

"Awww" Don says "I put real thought into that one"

"Well then, there goes your quota of brainpower for the month" Sour Wind comments as they keep going

Lupe looks at Dagmar, almost apologetically proud of her mixed up pack

Dag sniles.

"Maybe my squire could meet Don, sometime."

"Rules, all that. But still."

Dolly actually looks worried "Even our ragabash can know rage... I mean, Lupe can warn you, we garou arenn't always the best company"

Don looks offended "It's not like I drop kick folks when I don't get enough cream in my coffee, Dolly"

A pause "Not after 8 am anyway"

"Yeah. Rage is... I get that."

Dolly bites her lip "Not sure you do. It's the price we garou pay for the harm we've done. It can hurt a lot of-"

But Lupe cuts the well meaning child of gaia off "Trust me when I say that Dagmar knows rage. As does her chief. It's a part of them too. "

"It can hurt a lot of people if you lose control, yes."

Dolly nods at this, seeing Dagmar does seem to get it "It's the worst thing ever."

"We're the biggest and the strongest of our people. Really easy to cause damage. It sucks."

They keep moving, but Dagmar finds Dolly full of empathy, or perhaps a common chord has been hit "I'm an ahroun, the full moon is upon me. Means I'm a warrior. As a warrior I need more rage than the others , but the price is..." She sighs "My tribe believes we should work in harmony, but we are stil garou. Our ideals war with my nature sometimes. I guess as a protector who can also do more harm than most you do understand . I guess most other tribes would tell you as an ahroun I have the most chances for glory for we are often at war. But I hope I never value renown more than the lives of innocence"

Lupe looks at Dolly, "Dolly, if you took innocent lives it would COST respect and renown. The old ways do not always work, but they see to that"

Dolly nods, oddly reassured

"You need anger, sometimes. There's a lot of bullshit and injustice and terrible people... it's, yeah. Losing it is bad. The balance can be tought."

"But there is glory in directing it right" Lulu beams and wags ahead of Dolly and Dagmar "Great deeds can be done, and have been. Not just in the time of legend, but in the now! Are we to let fear of our flaws hinder us from trying? No! We shall after this is done celebrate our victory, and howl together as we chomp on the charred hot dogs of success around in a grove of happy trees as the moon comes down like a silver flame. And our children, and our children's children, will know that they too can be great, and though the world is full of monsters, those monsters can be fought and even driven back"

"Well, yeah. Yeah!" A grin.

Lupe smiles "And that's why she's our galliard"
