Autumn has settled in, so naturally, Zara is, if anything, more drawn to the riverside. Her lover..., Earl, listens as they pic nic "So, he wrote a Western and you suspect he incorporated you in part?"

"And Gerd. And a third... so less direct than the Silverhand books." She is practicing with her broom, fog collecting on the banks.

He watches her move about, "I wonder if you could sculpt with that fog? probably not..." Earl then considers "You, Gerd and a third... well, it makes sense. I hope he's doing it justice?"

"Well, I do not overly care for a western aesthetic..."

"Cowboy boots. Feh."

A smile "They do have practical use when the grown is full of brambles that can pierce softer soles but I tend to agree"

"Precisely." She swoops close the the water, stretching down to touch it with her fingertips.

The water feels wonderful, no melting here when she touches water for THIS witch.

"I wonder if Gerd knows? She SHOULD but.." mmm

"Well, I can tell her over tea."

"That'll be nice." Earl nods. "Apparently she and others will be home schooling at the DeBuke farm."

"Well, not a time to be in the physical school."

"I rather like being virtual."

"Oh I don't know," And.. he swipes lightly at her leg as if to grab it "I see advantages to face to face"

A loop-de-loop, evading him.

"Oh?" Arch.

He makes a helix before him in the air with an upward arrow and 'steps' into it... and takes flight. "Oh yes," And he loops a bit himself, before closing on her...hunting her even in the air, even over water "I find myself quite engaged"

"Oh-ho!"

And she leads him on a merry chase! Lagging on purpose before zipping in a new direction, darting close and skirting away...

Sometimes he brushes a hand here or there only to 'lose ' her. Is that her flying skills or his delight at continuing the chase?

Does it matter? The chase sweetens the capture.

Indeed, and a bit of fog can certainly make the chase a bit of hide and seek and then chase again... loops flirtatious, and near touches intriguing. "I strain, I strive," He says and another attempt to stroke her "I starve" longing in his voice even at this playful prose.

Zara attempts to steal a kiss and still get away!

Oh, darn that squirming, for she gets her kiss... he presses against her, only to find she has slid through his embrace like river water to coil about her broom again

"Unfair" He protests frustrated, laughing, longing

"Verily. For I am uncaught!" Plaintive.

"Mmm... " he eyes her, "Beauty on a stick, how appealing..." A come hither bunk, and her broom, and HER, are yanked towards him! Odds bodkins! The man takes liberties with a witch's broom! Tis well she adores

A squeak!

And she and the broom are once again in his slender (For a troll) arms, but even slender troll arms have a delightful firmness to them and she is so dainty "Now I see... I must hold the broom to gain an audiance with the fairest witch of the land" And he brushes his lips against hers

And she meets his kiss with her own desire.

The broom, the sluagh, and the troll sink to the river bank, flight of a different kind to be explored
