A quiet swoon.

"Oh were my tongue as skilled as my fingers, if I could only paint in words like I can in tinctures. I would speak you a temple.... I would make a chant echoing your sighs as the divine whispers nocturnal they are." A sigh "Alas, my tongue is thick and dry in my mouth. Only the kisses from my black river can remove that parched emptyiness. Better to drown in you than be in a desert devoid. Oh what an end to drown in you"

Zara smiles. "The house is empty..."

"is it? Do you know where I might find a drink from a noctural river then? "

"Oh, I may indeed..." She rises, trailing her fingertips along his chest.

And he stands too, his hands over hers, and he guides her up the stairs , enticing with more flattery in her ears...words only she can hear. And if his lips should brush her ears while he speaks that flattery? Well...

She makes certain that his parched tongue finds libation as she guides him to her bedroom.

and he will drink thirstily
