Earl gets the mail. It's amazing how many of his family have decided to send him letters. He never thought he was that loved. But trust Clem to push folks to be decent. One letter he doesn't recognize. Curious

He walks into the house, steps OVER the tripline of cobwebs the bored sluagh boy has left, and lays out the mail for Miriam where she can find it, while heading up the stairs to Zara and his area.

A moment later, he opens the curious envelope.

"Holy shit."

"He wrote on it... shoo, shoo, get it out of our house!"

"mmm?" Earl is distracted

"The check. Out!"

"Oh oh... you think he.. oh man I touched it" He shoves it back in the envelope

"Oh, get the money. But out of our home."

Earl says "So.. do I cash or..." Even as he moves towards the door "Got it. I'm going to the bank, now I guess"

"Aye, aye.. shoo!"

And he's gone... and a bit amazed. 800 dollars for 'viewing'? One thing for sure about the Baron.. he's wealthy.
