Poppy is MIFFED

"Ain't fair for friends to pop off like firefly in a bug zapper and not tell folk" She was looking for kids to play with and there are only so many.

True, Lily ain't social all ways, but she's still good to her word and she was supposed to be around. But Nelson was all pretty boy elf and they liked attention.

Yet here she waas without anyone else to prank on or blame on her pranks

"Emma, I need new friends, get to making some for me?" She wags her tail near the herbal hut

Waiting a WHOLE thirty seconds, agonizing wait, she sighs, "I'm gonna hafta round up the ole ones aint I?"

She'll get her friends trail then give em what for for making play time so darn hard

Lots of smells n stuff, and she gets side tracked more'n once. It leads to the li berry, where makes sense. While Poppy prefers the outside, a lot of kids were big readers.
