Lily is not sure what to make of the 'new girl'. This Melia seems to enjoy BEING scared, rather than scaring or unnerving others. It is terribly odd.

There is no denying Melia is a sluagh, lily realizes, she whispers, she squirms. but rather than victorian styles or grungey cltohes she seems to want to cocoon herself in various layers to the point of vanishing amid them. Sluagh ARE supposed to vanish, but somehow creating a mobile maze of layered clothes feels like cheating.

Lily goes out to seek an adult she trusts, and those are few.

She peeks into the library

Alas, she does not see Zara. Then again, even other sluagh have trouble seeing zara atimes, and it is rumored the library has numerous magic books that connect to different hidden tunnels only Manynames knows of!

Finding distraction for these odd feelings of comparison with a new girl, she instead decides to find a secret latch or nook

She moves quietly, hoping to 'hide' from the spiders in the room, and, of course, the dragon!

So she seeks out the way to the secret SECRET area. Once there was one, an Eiluned section, but the library was expanded and opened or so THEY say. They , the girl decides, probably only know half the story. Surely there must be yet a bit more mystery to this place. She respects Miss Zara too much to NOT believe she doesn't have something she doesn't tell

That IS of course, when she finds a book labeled "Lovecraft had no sense of humour"

Having not seen it before, she pulls at it... then it grows tentacles and pulls back as the spine expands.

Normally she would squirm, but she has no time!

And she is gone
