Imbolc in Earth Runes came and went in grand spectacle and renewal

There was ritual, there was partying, this being a Fiona hold, there was ritual partying!

And in the days after, Eathrunes seems blazing and vibrant... and the influences within her are hard to resist.

Obviously, with its Fiona ruler and years under her, this means a lot of the locals through out the barony feel a wee bit more amourous, even those not of the silverlion

but there are other traces of the old ruler, and the energy of the hold is not just of romance and passion, but romances with mysteries, passionate trysts where secrets are buried and uncovered.

And perhaps that's why, in the room Earl uses, a brick in the wall has come loose, surprising him.

Looking inside, he finds something, and smiles. Ah ha, she's left little surprises for me Surely it must be Zara's

The nerve of her, the DELIGHTFUL nerve, to leave this right near where he sleeps. He grins, collects it, and seeks her out

Zara has never seen this before in her life... but Earl doesn't know that.

So he seeks her out with this in his hands.

He peeks in the library first.

And finds Squire Velvet working

"Squire, have you seen Zara?" He asks

"I have only been in the library but an hour, Sir, but she was not visible when I entered"

He nods "Well, if you see her, please let her know I seek her out" he says "I found something she jmight want to see"

Then with a smile "Indeed, I think she is the one who left it. I just wanted her t oknow I lucked onto it"

At that, Velvet eyes the box "Russian, very old. Have you opened it?"

"No I was..oh right, she might have a note for me to follow" He opens it

Then blinks in confusion "I don't think this is hers. It doesn't look like her hand writing." He peeks through the papers "And... it's gibberish"

"Now THAT May summon thy lady" Velvet observes "For you have found... a mystery."

Earl nods, but distractedly, as he tries to make sense of the letter.

And he takes a seat, and gives it a go while he waits

After a half hour, he has a headache and all he can determine is that this is some sort of cipher.
