Tziporah has taken to romance with almost Fiona like intensity. UiIleam is a sidhe but a scathach and they aren't strangers to wandering either. But Earthrunes has definitely become their base of operations.

They play 'hide and go seek', a more adult version where the hider must give up a lot of kisses if caught by the seeker, or the seeker is fair game to a fondle if the hider manages to win. Either way, there are displays of wilder affection that border on the shameless.

Neither is clumsy, but to some sluagh, even a scathach and Eshu attempting to 'sneak' sound like thundering elephants

And making out IN the library when they believe no one is there is positively impossible to ignore for the 'delicate eared'

"Nay! Abscond!"

Zara means this as a declaration! A command! But.. it is the sluagh's curse to whisper... and HOPE they are overheard. One supposes beating your sister over the head with a book by Emily Post would be a bit much?

No, in fact, a good thwap to the rear with a book just might do it.

More kissing but then, either at a whomp to the butt, or just a lucky side eye, Tzipporah sees her scowling sister "Ah, sorry, sis. Didn't know you were nearby. I .. have to let him kiss me. He 'caught me'. It's the rules" She blushingly explains the rules to her "Can't be helped"

UiIleam ahems as they part briefly "Beg pardon, Zara. We ah.. when in a Fiona hold?" He leaves the twist on the saying unfinished as anyone could read it

"This is my Library."

Bronte spreads her wings and hisses to emphasize

"And such behaviour is disruptive to the patrons."

"It was just us..." Tziporah looks around "What patrons?"

She might not have a cardigan, or glasses on a little chain, but THAT is a Look.

'We should go," UiIleam suggests to Tziporah, and smooths the Eshu's affectionately

A sudden shift of movement from behind a wingback chair, and a mane shakes out, and a very, VERY large and Toothy YAWN.

The Librarian, of course, was well aware of the napper present.

But the Eshu and Scathach might be startled. :lion_face:

Indeed they are! Tzip almost bounces into her boyfriend's back "Vince? You were here?"

He does a BIG STREEETCH, massive claws poking out and gleaming, immaculately groomed, of course.

He gives them a LOOK.

"This is the Vince you told me about?" UiIleam mutters to her "I think I've not yet met."

it pales besides Mistress Zara's Look, but he Looks none the less.

Yellow eyes settle on the Sidhe in a most unsettling manner.

"He's a sweetie, Vince, this is my boyfriend, UiIleam? UiIleam, this is Vince. My sister's friend and quite the legend" Tzip explains

"Course he isn't safe. He is not a tame lion." Bronte might remark.

But Bronte's comment doesn't help the 'sweetie' talk

A faint rumble in his chest. A purr? A growl?

"Kapara, manners, nu? Snog thy lover in the shadows of the hallway." The term of affection for 'sister' softening the reprimand quite a bit.

While reckless by nature, Eshu are not above SOME wisdom and she takes UiIleam's hand and starts to pull him away "Let's leave Vince and Zara to having tea or talk or whatever they have planned. " But outside the doorway, she cheekily adds in a soft voice she KNOWS her sister will hear "I bet she and Earl 'snog' all the time in the library hurumph"

UiIleam is pulled along wondering if the Lion pooka really is as 'sweet' as he was told. He seems rather fierce but then they'e out in the hallway

The interlopers scared off, Vince flops onto the carpet as if boneless and shows his, dare we say, tum-tum.

"A King of all beasts." Zara smiles, and reaches to scritch his mane.

"Tea?"

Oh, but he's already asleep again.

Well enough. She curls up in the wingback, returning to her marked spot in A Horse and his Boy.

Bronte flutters down to join her and look over her shoulder. Bookwyrms can be terrible victims of FOMO and while she knows the Chronicles by heart, there is a joy in sharing literature with a friend
