"Oh I have folks who will put the brakes on me if I spoil him TOO Much" She says "But he could use some spoiling"

August nods. "I would value the occasional update on his progress and prospects. If you are so moved."

"You going to grade me as a mentor?" side look but with a smile

"Not at all! Forgive the implication, I didn't intend it as such."

"I know you didn't" She kisses his cheek "Actually I'll probably come to you for tips. You're great with kids"

"I, ah, I don't know about that."

"Well, Benny thinks you're wonderful and Lily called you a 'fine gent'"

"High praise indeed." he say sincerely.

"It is" She says "She said I was so nice it was a SHAME I couldn't be scared. Sweet girl, I think"

August nods. "Although she would not thank you for such a description. Perhaps, she would prefer being likened to a hydra."

"Ohh good point" She nods "I'll have to remember to compliment her on how sinister she looks in her new dress"

"Much more her style." August agrees.

"Now, how are YOU doing? HOw's the lawyering ?"

"Oh, I'm not a lawyer, not at all. I -am- working as a paralegal."

She bumps him "Says the guy who saved a manipulated Nocker by representing her. Okay, how's the paralegaling?"

"I simply asked a few questions, looked a little deeper into things. And, paralegalling is going well."

"Small victories, for people with few resources; it makes the victories all the more important."

"Also helping the have nots means has folk like me can avoid the modern day guilitones for another decade"

"Ah. I suspect the mob would not come for you, Leonora. You are a good person, and you help others."

"Oh, rage, even justifiable rage, doesn't always take careful aim" She says "But thank you"

"You're welcome."

"Now, I'd invite you to dinner, but I need to go give archery lessons to my squire. I think he'll have fun"

"My best to him, then, and we'll set up that dinner another time."

"DEFINITELY" She smiles and walks on

And August notices that she seems most happy to be teaching Antony. A good sign!
