He wobbles a bit, then catches the balls into his doffed jester hat, bows, and says "Bacon your parting, folks. Tis my smoke break so I must get a jacket"

Shalimar has been with Coradel for practically her entire life in these realms, so yes, she notices. She tries not to make her concern too obvious, but shortly follows him with her gliding step. Hopefully he's still in the hall, or not to far away?

She catches him not far at all... for he is using a wall to hold himself up in the hall. His brow has even more sweat than before

Now that is alarming. She hurries up behind him and puts a hand on his shoulder. "Shalimar? Do you need a healer?"

The touch of him is warm, he is BURNING with fever "Healer? I barely know her"

Her eyes flare wide, and suddenly Shalimar finds his feet off the floor...she's picked him up in a cradle carry and is hurrying him to the infirmary.

Out to the garden she goes. A certain possum pooka is not present.

The infirmary however still has an herbal healing vibe toit

"Help here, someone!" she calls out, a tense demand, as she finds a cot to rest Shalimar upon.

A puppy wiggles out from under a cot. Poppi in her canine form. Emma's grandma, now young again

"Poppi! Thank goodness. Shalimar is ill. He needs help."

She barks and races off outside!

And then, in chldling form she returns

Coradel tries fanning Shalimar's forehead as she waits for Poppi to return.

The child gets out the healing gear.

Shalimar rambles in his fever "And the horse says to the bartender, why the short face?" He coughs, hard and sharp

Poppi waves something at the Baroness, "It's all the fashion" A mask

A blink, and a nod. "Of course." She puts the mask on, but wishes it were one of her nicer ones. "What's wrong with him?"

Poppi has gloves, takes out a stethoscope, and listens to his cough, then says "He gots the Corvid, ma'am"

"But...no!" She frowns, irritated at the virus's assault. "Oh, Shalimar...how unpleasant."

His coughing does sound... rather crow like.

Her expression grows suspicious. "Wait...."

"You truly meant Corvid, didn't you?"

Poppi frowns, "He's gonna get the beaks and feathers, and turn into a pigeion, or maybe a Canary" She nods

A dubious look. "You can treat him, though?"

"Emma made a schurbert" She says, and reaches into a fridge "YUp. Here we go. " She pulls out some gummi worms, "You need to chew these, get them soft, and then drop him in his open mouth."

She blinks. "I have to...what?"

"Soften it up, drop it in his gob, cheep cheep" She says nodding with VERY Serious eyes

"I suspect, Healer, that you could do that at least as well as I, if not better." She gently pushes the gummy worms back towards Poppi.

The pooka sighs, and mashes em up in a bowl, "Darn grumps always got to ruin the fun of us innocent childfolk"

A little flash of anger, but just a little one. "Grumps?"

More CAW coughs from the jester, and his hair /fur looks a bit feathery

THAT part doesn't seem to be a joke.

Poppi notes the light flicker of anger "Just funning you Boomeress." She grins BIG hoping to look cute

her little puppy tail is a nervous wag

"Heal him," she says firmly, pointing at Shalimar.

The worm mush is poured into Shalimar's mouth. It doesn't instantly 'fix' the fellow, but after a few swallows, his coughing softens, and the fur doesn't look as feathery

"Shalimar?" She brushes her fingers across his forehead. "Better?"

"I feel like a Steeler fan tossed into philly streets, but otherwise.. meh?" He gives a worried look "My liege, if I get you sick, August will be jealous. Take care eh?"

"you should go wash up in soap operas and hot spring water" Poppi agrees, "I'll feed him until Emma comes into pump his belly. "

Coradel's eyes twinkle a bit as he speaks, and she nods. "I'll be careful. Poppi, thank you. I'll check back in later." She squeezes Shalimar's hand gently, then rises and departs.

POppi does tend to Shallimar with concern . Lots of Gummi worm soup is called for
