Delores enters Earth Runes again, faded, but over her bedlam spat, and looking most contrite

When she sees her Baroness, she curtseys

Coradel meets Delores at the door. "Welcome back, dear Delores. How are you feeling?"

"Embarrassed, chagrinned, a touch humiliated" She admits "I tried to shrink things for 'more room'...I re arranged rooms in a frenzy... and I couldn't even help with the clean up. I am SO very sorry"

"Nonsense. You were unwell, not malicious. It wasn't you're fault." She rests a hand on the boggan's shoulder. "I am delighted to have you back."

She smiles at that. "You're a good liege, and a great friend. Thank you. How's Charity doing as my fill in?"

"She certainly has the experience," Coradel says, then leans in and murmurs, "but she lacks your leadership. I suspect some things might have been left a bit confused, as a result."

"Oh " she perks out of her embarrassment "Well, when I first took the job it took a bit to get the full hang. It's a lot of coordination between the staff. Sometimes the left hand starts to fix what the right hand already handled. "

"Oh, of course! It's a terribly complex duty, I'm sure. Now...do you feel you're up to returning to it? Or do you think we should let Charity continue for another week or so in the Steward role, and let you re-acclimate?"

"Oh, I want to get back in the saddle. Blame your influence there, but if you think it's wise, I could keep her as my assistant and right hand? I'm wondering if she isn't due for a permanent promotion of SOME sort"

"I have been wondering the same. And certainly you could use a dedicated protégé."

"Mmm well, you gave me a chance , it seems a wonderful forever ago. Least I can do is pay opporutnity forward, with your approval , of course?"

"I absolutely approve. Do tell me, though, if you think she would benefit from me giving her a hard interview, first?"

A smile, "is it wrong I kind of want to 'interogate her' about what she's done, just to make her think she's in trouble, before promoting her?"

"Not wrong at all," Coradel says with a smile. "It's a far gentler 'hazing' than many might receive. Do you wish me to be part of it, or shall you torment her on your own?" A wink.

"I leave that up to you, wouldn't want to spoil your share of any fun"

"Then, I shall....oversee the proceedings." She steeples her fingers, evil genius-y. "But you will be in charge of the direction of that discussion."

A satisfied chuckle, and off they go for a bit of fun but also an overdue offer
