For Coradel, Valentine's day is a triumph, she is after all, a Fiona! And the romances blooming about are overall a good thing

It is spectacular! People are expressing their passion and desires and romantic ideals, and of course it's all thanks to her planning.

Well, and the help of her very talented staff, who make the whole vision come together.

Of course, there is a risk of being shot with the wrong person ... the oath of true hearts is strong, but other couples could have trouble.

Fortunately, protocals work on cupid chimera and SHE controls the 'proper protocals'

She and August don't need much help in this department...although maybe it might be fun to just entertain a little touch-of-the-arrow! But there are others who would certainly benefit from the kind of nudge only a cupid could give.

Besides, it's fun to watch people become besotted.

And so it is, she sees Zing , pooka gal, looking ready to sneak on a cupid to attack it. The cupid doesn't see her in the tree in the garden.

Oh, that doesn't seem sporting to the poor cupid! "Ahem! Zing? Doing something in that tree?" she says loudly enough for the cupid to be warned.

Zing meows?

And ges shot right in the kisser ...

The Cupid smiles and bows to Coradel

A salute back to the little winged soldier of the good fight for love!

She has but a moment to draw Zing's attention to a possible target...

One bookish sluagh fellow looks over a mushroom.

And one of the trolls, who unlike Oswald doesn't stand out, is on duty as thane

Or she could leave it be and see howit goes.

Oh, she knows the vengeance of sluagh, and while the Fiona is no coward, the payback could grow tedious. No, instead.... "Oh my! Zing! LOOK!" and points at the thane as if there's an event of awesomeness going on over there!

Zing's head whirls and ... she spots the Thane, a thane she's seenbefore. Little hearts form above her head and circle, her eyes grow large and luminous, and she purs.. suddenly aware how amazing this guy is!

THe thane looks up "Everything okay,Baroness?"

"Oh, of course!" she says to the thane. "By the way, I'm not sure if you've met Zing?" She indicates the pooka. "She's a lovely girl, and of course is under my protection, so I'm quite certain you'll be dutiful and respectful as you keep her company, won't you." It's not really a question.

"of, course," Thane Herbie, for it is a tendency of troll thanes here to have unfortunate names like that or Oswald or the like... "I've met Miss Zing before but I'll gladly..."

The pretty asian American co ed drops into his arms from above human form. He drops his shield and spear to catch her safely

"Oh, lovely! Well caught! You two have fun!" Coradel gives a smile and a wave and leaves the two of them to get acquainted.

Herbie looks surprised

And off Coradel moves

"What are you doing, my liege?" Leonora smiles

And gives her a soft kiss in greeting

"Leonora!" A warm smile and a lingering kiss in response.

"Are you enjoying the day so far?"

"Quite alot. " She assures "Vince and I said hello this morning" A wink kissing ANd telling

"Oh, he does such a good job with good-mornings, doesn't he?"

"Makes me not want to say good bye" She sighs happily

"Such sweet sorrow!" she sighs melodramatically, then murmurs conspiratorially. "It's a good thing he recovers quickly."

A giggle and whisper back "Like a well maned trooper. How are YOU doing this day? I see the cupids are acting with almost miltiary precision"

"Oh, they're marvelous, the cupids! Sharp shooters, true masters of their art! As for me...August and I had a lovely lazy wake-up this morning. I think he's in his study at the moment. You and I should make sure he takes a break, later," she says with a wink.

"Oh, definitely. He works hard"

"Yes. And we can coax him to play hard, as well."

"Oh definitely" She gives a lusty sigh "I do like that. He's really quite the specimen of 'healthy body healthy mind'"

"Usually. Of course, sometimes he gets so intensely involved in his mind that he neglects the body. And that's where we come in." She takes Leonora's arm so they can stroll together.

Arm in arm, the two walk about, "Indeed, where would he be without our gentle reminders that he needs his ...work outs"

A pleased laugh. "Oh, did you see Zing and Thane Herbie just now? An interesting pairing, but I think they'll enjoy." Then a thoughtful look. "Hmm...hopefully another cupid will take aim at Herbie as well."

"There's one" She says pointing "Ask him?"

The cupid she points to is polshing an arrow

"Oh! Good eye!" She calls out to the cupid. "Hello! Archer! Are you looking for a target?"

"Oh sure am... hey, thanks" He starts to point it at Leonora "A love of her very own coming up"

"Hey now" Leonora says

"Not who I had in mind. See that troll over there? With the pooka?"

"Yeah?" he says turning "oh he looks confused."

"Yes. I think an arrow might assist his focus, don't you?"
