"WONDERFUL" And Delores offers Coradel a ribbon "Baroness, would you pin this on Tomlok? It means so much mroe coming from you"

Coradel applauds and then takes the ribbon. "Gladly, Steward! Tomlok, for service in the cause of satisfaction, please accept this reward." She bends gracefully to pin the ribbon on the young troll's chest.

"Hear hear."

Tomlok puffs up

Everyone claps

Jawsica says with complete innocence "I bet the Baron satisfies the Baroness so that's how he knows"

Coradel blinks and gives August a look of barely contained laughter.

He's way to flustered to catch it.

"AHem..." Earl moves on "For Best Color, and this was really hard because they were all so wonderfully hued... the winner is..." A look to August

"The ice cream! The sprinkles put it over the top."

"Oh! Sprinkles are lovely," she agrees, then looks to Delores to see who that winner is?

"Congratualtions, Martina," Delores claps and the Baroness gets another ribbon to put on the boggan girl

Martina gushes "I did it! I HOPED sprinkles would make the difference"

"That was very clever of you! And here...a ribbon just as colorful as your creation!" She pins the ribbon on the girl and smiles. "Very well done!"

"Which means....." August says with some relief, then looks to Earl for the last announcement.

"Good job, " Jawsica says "I totally am not angry gold wasn't the winning color" Applause for her peer

"Last but not least" Earl says "The Stylish winner for Best Presentation is...."

A look to August

"The goldfish cassarole! Wonderful theme."

"I don't knwo where the inspriation came from" Jawsica says 'The muse was upon me... I am a messanger of higher forces that like crunch"

Another ribbon handed to the Baroness, while the steward says "I knew they'd appreicate your layering, Jawsica! Just knew it. Brava. THREE wonderful winners"

August applauds them all.

Indeed, they even applaud themselves, hyped up on the moment

Coradel pins the ribbon on the pooka. "That dish showed cleverness and insight. Brilliant!"

She steps back and joins in the applause for all three.

"Lot of Naval Gazing " A nod from Jawsica but she is proud

"And may we please applaud our judges..." she leads the applause for them "...and for our Steward for arranging this fine competition." Another round of applause for Delores.

"Do we have to share the prize with them?" Jawsica stage whispers

"No," Tomlok whispers back "it's just polite"

"YAY' the pooka claps for the judges too

"Okay you three, by now you're hungry yourself, so first part of the prize is Jester Shalimar takes you to Chuck E . Cheeses for TWO hours at least with one hundred dollars in tickets. He's waiting for you in the van. Go have fun" Delores delcares

"Enjoy!" Coradel says as they scamper off, and then more quietly says to Delores, "Does Shalimar know that he's taking them there?"

The kids bow so fast it's a blur and ZOOM to go join the weirdo in the van. which is not as terrible in fae land as it might be in mortal

Delores says "Oh he knows NOW yes. ' A low mutter "That'll teach him to mix pop rocks into the tea

Earl takes a seat, as if exhausted

"THAT explains a great deal!" She turns and goes to August. "You poor thing," she says, taking his hands and kissing his cheek. "Both of you looked as though you were facing a firing squad!"

August sits too, almost a collapse.

"No warning...." he mutters.

"No escape" earl adds

"Oh my goodness, what a fuss from you two" the Steward says "I sent word to the baroness but when it looked like she might make it in time I brought you two into it. "

"Oh, yes, I was busy. So very busy." Coradel's serious nod might be a bit too earnest to be completely honest.

Well she -has- been busy....

"Well there you go then" the Stewardess nods "And it worked out wonderfully. This is a yearly thing, so I think maybe you two will be needed again"
