When he returns, Squire Tylar is there with his favorite drink

"Thank you, Squire. How are you?" he puts his things down and takes the beverage.

"Well enough, my liege. Lord Hume said you might want a boggan's help on the gossip vine for a friend? But that I should offerr instead of leaping into it."

"For.... ah. Well. That's an idea." He considers it "Not sure it's necessary, though."

"Well, Baron. He is a Dougal. They tend to like doing complete jobs once they get started"

"True." he sips his drink, thinking "It's a matter of mortals, and suspicion and jealous. I'm not sure it's worth stirring things up? Empty accusations."

A nod "Well, up to you, Baron. " he smiles "Whatever you like"

"I suppose....." slowly "Could you look into things with your Kith's unique insight, perhaps? Not to take action per se but to ... learn more? Just in case."

"Sure!"

"Thank you. And thank you for the drink." With a smile and nod, he moves on.

the squire wet his way o check on things

August finds Jack, not in his tavern, but in the hall

"Jack. Pleausre to see you."

"Hey, August... thank goodness. I need to close the pub for a bit. you have that weaverward stuff?" he looks alarmed

"I, ah, no.... I'm sure we can come up with something that will work. Is everything ok?" with gentle concern.

"no, we got an infestation... I gotta close it up " Worry fills his normally easy going features

August's eye go wide. "Oh dear. Have you alerted Steward Delores?"

"Looking for her now"

"Let me help. What is the nature of the infestation? Is Vince ok?"

August casts around to see if there are any handy who can seek the Steward.

"Vince should be fine.. he's not down there" He says "We got Ants... they're in the booze.. they're in the walls, rosy little chimerical mosters"

"Pink Aley Ants" He goes on "you've heard of Pink Elephants? Mostly harmless, Pink Aley ants chimera? A true tavern devouror and they can spread"

"Oh dear.... that is -not- good." August doesn't use the tavern as such, but he loves some of those who do and the idea of an infestation does not sit well with him. He flags someone down. "Do you know where the Steward is?"

"She's out making a shopping trip" Charitty says

"Ah. Well. Ahhh... What can we do to fight these ants?"

"Chimerical firre is outt" he says "Could smoke em to deah maybe"

"With what?"

"Don't know, smoke?" he shrugs

"Bug spray?" Charity says

"I admit, I'm at a loss."

"Me too" the satyr scratches at his horns "For now it's off limits. Bar's closed"

"Is that enough?"

"Why I was hoping for a ward, to seal it good" he admis sheeish "So unfair Commoners can'tt learnn Sovereign"

"The Seer, perhaps?"

"Perhaps. I'll go ask hhim . Thanks"

Jack pats him on the shoulder and starts to go

"You're welcome." August says, and finds someone to stand guard at the tavern door; if no one is available he will do it himself.

Oswald takes post!

"Thank you." And he continues on to his room.
