"Iowa... please, sir, tell me you're not Varich? I beg"

The Sidhe scowls and removes himself for a moment, the the sluagh and cage, all, are lifted..... with some effort... and removed to a ... hallway? ((THUD))

And soon a Sidhe is there, dressing robe being done and... an air of distrust about him.

the sluagh lays there, unable to squirm through the mesh

The door is firmly shut. "Who are you?"

"Lacrima, my name is Lacrima Mourn" she is lovely, a wilder, but her clothes are tattered, not merely antique, torn and filthy

"Why are you here?"

"the troll wished me here" she swallows " I don't know his name, please, let me out? the mesh is too small to go through"

"Guards." the Sidhe stands, commanding.

Rollo is therre almost in a snap "right herre, Baron" the fiesty boggan shows extra respect since August saved him from helping a prisoner escape

"This one is accused of attacking the Baroness and myself in our chambers and sleep. Detain her."

"I... I attacked no one. I'm trapped in a cage!" A pannicked whisper "I've told the truth.. I swear..."

But the thane isn'tt listeing, he grabs the sluagh's cage and starts to drag it "Will do, Baron"

"Thank you, Thane."

And August tries to sneak back into bed.....

And to bed he returns, thouh a servant may clean it

Well, 'sneak' being without disturbing his wife.

Coradel sleeps like a log

An affectionate log, yes.

Coradel, indeed, snuggles up to August as he returns to the bed, and may sleepily behave in a way that happens to distract him from his current concerns....

,..and eventually it's August's turn to succumb to deep sleep.

But now Coradel's feeling wide awake, herself. Oh, why not a stroll?

A soft, warm robe, delicately stitched slippers...and out into the hall she goes.

Only to see Rollo coming up, wiping his brow

"Rollo," she says with a lazy smile. "Busy night?"

"It's crazy, " he agrrees "I put that sluah in a secure location like the baron demaded, but sluaggh are wigggly... I guess after the Leanhuan got out he's on high alert. Can't blame him... but now other slauh in other cages are abboutt and when I tried to round them up, Emma looked ready to BITE me"

She gives him a lovely, slow blink before saying "...sluagh? Cages? It seems I may have slept through something."

"I warned you about trying Jack's Bedtime Bourbon" he says "yeah, we got slaugh. One landed in your room"

"In my room? Mine and August's? Surely not!" Although she sounds a little doubtful. "Where are they now?"

"Well, the one tthat was in your room is under arrest. Baron's orders : accused of attacking the Baroness and him in chambers and sleep.' she's isolated behind a wall of mesh"

"Bring me to her, please," she directs.

"uhm sure..." He leads her to the dungeon area

behind a mesh construct she cannot wigle through, a lovely woman, a sluagh, looks up with tear stained eyes. She has been cleaned off, but still wears rags

The red-headed baroness is clothed only in a luxurious robe and slippers. Certainly still stunning, but hardly court clothing. She steps close to the mesh and regards the woman. "I understand you made a rather abrupt entrance to my room?"

"I am innocent" She whispers miserably, "I did not intend to land there, I tried to explain... oh please dear dreaming tell me this is nnot a varich hold?"

"Oh, my, no! Fiona and Liam, primarily. A little Varich on the side. Now...how did you get here, and where were you trying to land?"

"I wasnt" she sounds frustrated "I was flicker flashed by a troll"

"A troll? What troll?"

"I never saw him before in my life, he was slenderer than some, and bore a sword of glass"

"Oh! Was there a sluagh with him?"

"Oh yes, not one of us.. pale ad powerful"

"Hmmmm...but the troll sent you in a cage...?"

"there was no time o open it, but I swear, my only crime is being sluagh. the varich used us to train their housemembers how to hunt slaugh" She looks ready o break into tears anew

That gets a frown. She looks back over to where Rollo waits. "Release her."

"Ah.. yes boss" He does so, "Just following Baron August's orders. He seemed to thinkn i was a real attack"

"I'll explain to August when he wakes again. Now..." she turns her attention back to teh sluagh, "I'm Coradel, Baroness of EarthRunes. What are you known by?"

"A rappity tap tap?" Vince calls.

"Lacrima Mourn.. and I have been hunted on and off for 3 months. Hunted, healed, caged, then hunted again. there were 15 of us...only one varich saw it as wrong, and she vanished for her protest."

"Oh, Vince!" Coradel calls back, but softly, mindful of the sluagh's ears. "Come down, would you, please?"
