And August does see Benny.

"Ah, Benny." He motions the boy over "How are you?"

"BARON" He grins excitedly "Guess what, gguess what?"

August might notice a bit of blood on the kinain boy's lip

"Benny, are you alright?" August crouches down in concern to take a look.

"I'm great" He opens his mouth "I lost a tooth" Sue enough, one of his teeth is missingg

August smiles. "That -is- great." he agrees "Come to the study and let's see if we can find a container for it?"

"Sure!" he reaches in his pocket and pulls out a bloody tooth "but later I got to put it under a pillow. "

"Of course." soberly "Come." they head to the study and August finds a small container.

"Here you go."

"Thank you, Baron. You're the best!"

Annd he gets a hug!

August chuckles. "Now, do you think you could take some notes to Baron Roscelli?"

"Sure! " Chipper

August gets copies and offers them. "Take care of that tooth until bedtime."

"Yes, Baron " He takes them and bows , then goes off ot deliver the messagge chanting "Tooth Fairy , Tooth Fairy, I've got a tooth, forever a memory of this youth! Tooth Fairy Toothy Fairy, a trade for you, I'll give you it to keep for a coin or two! Tooth Fairy Tooth Fairy, I'll try to sleep. So quietly to my tooth you can creep! Tooth Fairy Tooth Fairy Tooth Tooth TOOTH, hold onto the memory of my youth!"

August is impressed!

And he goes back to his book and his studies.

That night, a powerful and lovely glimmer of magic flows into the hold, yet so subtle not everyone will sense it

The toothfairy slips past thanes when they're looking, andn avoids cats

And into the room where Benny slips, the tooth fairy takes her form. Then she finnds the tooth under the pillow. "Ooo lovely one"

She takes the tooth, and slips in the beloved coins in it's place. She turns...

only to be snared.

"oh dear"

A soft whispering voice says "Now, Miss tooth fairy, I wish to talk about justice for the toothless.... my name is Lily. How do you do?"
