He bends down and kisses her

Zara rather enjoys that, and gives as good as she gets.

The Raven croaks its song - a far less harsh sound than most would hear from its breed.

Indeed, the soft sound is now harsh kaw

When they part, he asks "When do we go?"

"I would care to go soon. Can you make your leave, also?"

"I can, Nelson will be curious WHY but that's nnormal"

"It will do him good to wonder."

"Is that how you honed YOUR razorsharp skills?"

One of those little smiles again.

"Yes, I can make leave as soon as is best for you. Tomorrow?"

"Perfect."

"How to pass the nigh until then?"

"Come to my room. We shall work aught out."
