"There we go.." She grins "Claire's caught between cooing and glaring at anyone who thinks new moms are adorable. Oh she's also trying to get back in fighting trim"

"Surely she'll take the time she needs to bond...?"

"Not that, ah, not that I have any useful input."

"Welll Umm I don't know anything about that... " She blushes

He blinks; Leonora of Fiona BLUSHING? In that case, by rights, he himself should be dead.

She seems to read his thoughts "Quiet you" A blush continues

August seems baffled (not that it's unusual in him). "What... what is wrong?"

"I don't know I get..sappy. You know? I don't want kids of my own but I think it's...sweet? Imposisbly so, to imagine the family stuff."

"I know the feeling."

"mm Of course, I haven't been stuck changing diapers yet so it's easy to say"

He chuckles. "My own experience is limited as well. Although...."

"Oh I bet you get stuck babysitting more than once"

"Stuck? I'd be happy to."

"I should tell them that."

"They'll appreciate it"

"Look later if you and Coradel want dinner, let me know. I've got the urge to go out. My treat"

He nods. "I will let her know."

A smile "I would imagine she'd like to relive the rescue with you."

"I can't believe she went so easy with Hume after. Guess she'ss finally okay with him being her heir"

He blinks. "Ah. Yes. See you around."

And off she goes having spread tthe good news

And August.... moves on to his own business.
